I think the article is biased and is not sharing the full story. This article will affect me as it brings in the idea of pro voter ID laws. A possible outcome I can see from this article is that people being misled to believe Voter ID laws are harmful when in fact they are just there to protect our elections. I think within the next 5 years this article will be important as within another 4 years we will have another election, and my hope is that we are able to secure our elections better.

According to the article, the worst war is provoked by hunger and is the most devastating caused of death all around the world. Personally the article doesn't affect me physically but understanding how others suffer for the country leaves me with a devastation mark mentally. This is because of the pain their love ones go through knowing a love one can be on danger while in war. A possible outcome I can see happening from this article is the respect and proving the necessarily food supplies for those who fight intensively and others. As can be seen, I believe the article would matter in a range of five years because the importance of knowing the result of war in important.

I think that this article well details the risks that face masks have on the enviroment if not disposed of properly as they don't decompose for more than 450 years and an estimated 1.6 billion are said to flood the ocean in 2020 alone. I think this article won't affect me immediately but it will affect the enviroment. A possible outcome I see is a further struggle for those who make efforts to clean oceans as well as death of animals. I think this article will matter in 5 years because pollution is a big threat to thw world and it's something very easily caused but difficult to reverse.

Helicopter on Mars
Recently, NASA has landed another rover on mars, named Perseverance. Along with this came a helicopter! Ingenuity is a 4 pound piece of equipment with the ability to fly. This, as detailed by engineers and scientists, is going to allow for a better mapping of the Martian terrain and will help determine alternate landing zones for future missions. Though, it proved to be quite a challenge. You'd think that do to lower gravity, it'd be easier to fly, but it isn't. Due to the less dense atmosphere of Mars, it is actually far more difficult to fly. But with some INGENIOUS thinking over at NASA, they've created something capable of flying. This is amazing! I will be affected by this because as technology becomes more advanced the closer and closer we are to colonizing mars, and who knows, maybe I will be one of those colonizers! This article will definitely matter in the next 5 years because it is a stepping stone towards something greater. Missions like these are helping us understand Mars so that we may build a habitable environment for the future of humanity.

This article really makes me believe that a better future is possible because it talked about how Derek Chauvin's sentencing can be the start to real justice. I think the outcome of this article will affect many either in a good or bad way. While there are those who are happy this came to be, there's those that are sad because it took someone's life to really make an opening for justice. I think this article will matter in the next 5 years because the killing of George Floyd has been a very popular topic ever since it came to be.

https://newsela.com/read/derek-chauvin-verdict/id/2001020449/

NASA's rover lands on Mars with helicopter.

The has been many missions to mars to try and learn as much as we can and this one is the most advanced one yet. On February 18, 2021 NASA landed the rover on mars which is called Perseverance and it will spend 2 year collect information on proof of life on the planet. They added the helicopter because they wanted a different viewpoint on how robots and humans might fly there in future. Also before Perseverance there were four other rovers on Mars which is Sojourner, Spirit, Opportunity, and Curiosity, the previous rover. I think this will be life changing, and I believe that within those 2 years we will finally discover life on Mars. I have a strong interest in space and I think this will help me eventually figure out my career path.

This article keeps informing that masks do hurt the animals in the ocean since many mistake it for food. nearly 1.6 billion masks are floating in the ocean and takes years to breakdown. 450 years.

Ingenuity is a small self-controlled helicopter working on Mars which was part of NASA's Mars 2020 mission. On Monday, April 19, 2021, it successfully completed the first powered controlled flight by an aircraft on a planet other than Earth, taking off vertically, hovering and landing. The flight lasted about 40 seconds and was able to reach an altitude of 10 ft. This is a great article because it shows what NASA is doing to study more of the unknown. This article won't affect me but it will give the world more information about what has been discovered. This article will matter in 5 years or so because it shows how fast we are evolving with new technology and new discoveries.

What I think about the article is that if we want to get this through together we need to help other countries around the world that need aid and support. The article had affected me in such way that by saying people need help because pandemic it needs the word spread out for people to get vaccinated. The possible two outcomes as a result is that India will receive help and by then the world will be vaccinated and then either they will be a cure or either covid will be part of our daily lives like the flu and the chicken pox and we h9ad to make sure it doesn't spread.

On Top of that, to research and see what the surface is like. They want to find out what they can from the photos and data they record. The helicopter type aircraft is named Ingenuity. In order to fly on the planet they had to calculate how the aircraft would be. Because of the dense atmosphere and different gravity they adjusted the weight of the whole craft to be 4 pounds. They made the blades to fly bigger than the craft. It landed successfully on April 19th. It is said to fly more times later on to record more data.
