 I think economics plays a underlining part of how history moves.

She was also a strong voice for the suffrage movement.

Carrie Nation may be well known for the 18th Amendment she did so in the attempt to help women, seeing alcohol as the reason why husbands were abusive and by getting rid of alcohol she could in fact better the lives of women.
