First of all , I learned that assigning project homework is not the same thing with project based learning.
In pbl, students can make their own decisions too.
Students engage in the process by asking questions and inquiring. Students may explore real-world issues and work out solutions to them.
The students are also the parts of a whole, which means collaboration is vital in pbl.
They can control their own learning process, which makes it funnier and attractive.

I believe , the most important thing in education is motivation. If we, as the teachers demotivate the students for a specific target,We weaken the student' s confidence.

If we don't value the students' ideas and always try to shape them in a way we want they can lose their independence, which is a barrier for a student to become individuals.

Realistic expectations are really important too,If you have too high expectations from the students, they can feel themselves under pressure and it can cause chaos.

Creating unpleasent and boring atmosphere in the classroom can also demotivate the students.

As the teachers, if we become control freak ,it can prevent students' gain their independency.

Overall, it shouldn't be forgotten that all the students are unique. They should be given enough chance to build up their confidence and become more independent.
