Hi everyone! My name is Nydia (Nadia) Areige Omery Candede. I am 38 years old. I discovered my new career in teaching five years ago and I have never been happier! I was born and raised in California and I received by bachelors from Humboldt State University. Currently, I am working with third grade students at İSTEK Schools in İstanbul. I love teaching primary school students and believe in student centered learning approaches where students can move around and go search for answers to their questions. Hello everyone! This is my 25th year teaching. Since this year, I've always been a middle school English so this year is quite a challenge for me. However, I think this slight change in my career was a good decision and I'm happy about it. I work with grade 4 students from ages 8, 9 and 10. They get motivated easily and learn best when they feel secure in their learning environment and loved.
