in this version of the dance everything was still being planned but we began to work on the ballroomy partner work and interactions.

in this version of the dance we changed the order of the people more to fit the vocals(so people who sing first come on stage first etc.) as well as adding choreography leading in/out of engagement party and into alternate scenes.

in this version we swapped the order of people walking on and added more characterisation by focusing on how characters in the higher class/ lower class would walk and carry themselves as well as working on the physical emotion of our characters, for example my character (Mr Poole) is a upper class man therefore I tried to walk with a straight back with a very upright approach as well as working on the smug faces he would have towards the lower class.

in this dance we began to work on chorography with the umbrellas and using the newspapers as props to solidify the discovery of the murders within the public of London, when using these props we also began to work on how our characters would look when reading about such important people being murdered as well as thinking about our characters relationships with the characters that have died we did this by focusing on our emotion and physical interaction with each other. for example with my partner in this section of the dance we both look at each other in fear and realisation of what has happened.

in this practice i tried to work on the physical portrayal of mr pooles wealth within my body language when walking and interacting with other characters.

in this practice we continued to work on characterisation through movement and poses to symbolise the social status of the character. We also continued to rehearse the vocals along with the movement making it more comfortable.

in this practice we continued to work on the difference between class and how the poor and rich would act with eachother due to their differences and attitudes towards one another.We also focused on vocal strength and projection to solidify the vibe of this number.

in this practice we ran through the murder murder choreography with a new section, this section symbolised a train therefore we had characters holding onto train handles and sitting in certain pose. we also worked on the scenes that transition into new parts of the song.
