         <description><![CDATA[<div>Super Toys Last All Summer Long by Brian Aldiss<br><br>Brian Aldiss: 1969 when the short-story was released, member of royal corp during WWII, best known short story; adapted into a movie<br><br>Imagine a world where you have to submit your name in a lottery in order to have a child. In this future, overpopulation and lack of resources exist. Therefore, artificially constructed life forms are created to fill the void of loneliness and not being able to have children. In Brian Aldiss's 1969 short-story "Super Toys" he creates such world and with it, reveals some of the complexities between an AI-child and human mother. "Super Toys" artificially constructed life-forms such as the AI-child David, represent the issue of a lack of human empathy and compassion. <br><br></div>]]></description>
