My story of the time I almost drowned:
When I was 4 years old, like every year for holy week we went to some river to spend the day, to eat and enjoy with family, but that year I almost died drowning, it all started because my uncle's wife went to a big posa, then nobody noticed and I went behind her to climb on a stone near the posa onda, Then I slipped off that rock and fell into the posa onda, as I was 4 years old I could not swim and only screamed, then my uncle ran to pull me out but I had already swallowed water and they had to take me to the hospital, since then we did not go to the rivers, until today we started to go.

A story of my life.
In 2019 I had the pleasure of going on a trip alone with my boyfriend, who is my current husband, I really loved all the time we spent together, but there are more unforgettable parts since anything can happen.
It was in Petén, we decided to go to Tikal and we borrowed a motorbike from her sister to go to the place, we were walking all day taking pictures, enjoying the natural environment and having some snacks.
Everything was going well until it was time to leave, well, let's go back home calmly, but in the middle of getting to the exit of Tikal we had a flat tire and we had to take the motorcycle to the exit pushing it, it was already about 4 o'clock In the afternoon, we managed to arrive and we had to wait 3 hours for my husband's brother-in-law to come and bring us. In the end we arrived at my sister-in-law's house at 8 pm, and we could no longer go to enjoy the island of Flores, because we ran out of transportation. But it didn't matter the idea was to be together.

Well, to put you in context, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and every so often we take a trip to the farm Las Colinas, which is located in Chimaltenango, all the youth of the church attend.
For me, going camping is a very uplifting and special event, which young people from all over the country attend to raise their standards, find themselves or get answers to questions of the soul. Personally, I have attended to find peace and get out of my comfort zone, and I have received that and countless blessings and much more.
I always wondered how a place and the people in it can bring so much harmony and love into your life. No matter what you are doing, just being there, stepping on the grass, feeling the wind brush against your cheeks, admiring how close the clouds seem to be to you and listening to the birds sing, is incredibly comforting.
I discovered that it is not precisely the place, but the supreme and omnipotent being that dwells in it, Our Heavenly Father, God. The people you meet there only lack the halo and wings to give them the title of angels; you experience faith, humility, love, perseverance, gratitude, compassion, happiness and fun, of course, it is a week, or a few days that prepare you for a lifetime.
