Art Weaver

I went to “image” at the top, adjustments, and then hue and saturation. I changed the hue to -180 and the saturation to 100. Art weaver was generally easy to use. There were a lot of the normal universal tools found in other editing programs. Art weaver was a lot like Photoshop. I wasn't able to figure out how to combine two images on art weaver because it wouldn't let me unlock the layer and that was kind of confusing and frustrating.

I selected crop from the toolbar and I outlined what I wanted to keep and then clicked on it and it deleted the other parts of the picture. Gimp was my least favorite thing to work with. I thought it was very aggravating. Most of the tools were universal but the layout of the program was weird. I was able to figure out how to do everything I needed to do for the table but I wouldn't use it again unless I had to.

I changed the brightness to -4 and I changed the contrast to 10. PicMonkey was really to use and it reminded me a lot of the editing programs I used to use in middle school to edit my selfies. There were a lot of universal tools and I liked that you didn't have to create an account to use it. Its completely free you don't have to download it or anything. I think PicMonkey is a good starter app for people who are new to editing pictures.

I added a water swirl, I changed the hue to negative 50 and the saturation to 50 and I changed the exposure to 40. Pixlr in my opinion was the most easy and user friendly thing we used. Editor had a lot to do with hue, saturation, color adjustments, exposure, curves and things like that. It was fun to use and I could make my original pictures look a lot different.

I applied an effect (atomic, infrared 65%), I added an overlay (default, beep 100%), and I applied a sticker. Pixlr express was mostly focused on effects, overlays, borders, stickers and things to make the picture more interesting. It was just as easy to use as Pixlr editor. I was able to make my pictures look really cool with these overlays.

I went to the image tool bar up top and an adjustment option was available, I clicked it and It gave me the option to adjust the brightness and contrast. I changed the brightness to 20 and the contrast to 100. Photoshop wasn't as user friendly as some of the other programs were. It took some getting used to and combining two images was really hard at first. After using Photoshop over and over for multiple parts of the project i got the hang of it and it is now one of my favorite editing programs.

I found a picture on google of sponge bob and I traced the image onto paper. I then copied it and saved it. Then I opened the image on Photoshop. I used the paint bucket tool to fill him with color. I occasionally had to use the paint brush tool to fix areas i didn't close. After Sponge bob was completely colored I found an image I wanted to use as his background. I then uploaded that picture to Photoshop. Then using the rectangle tool i traced sponge bob and combined two images putting him on his background.

I googled pictures of magazines to get ideas of how I wanted it to look. I inserted pictures and changed the size, adjustments of them. I inserted text and I changed the size, font, and color to make it look more interesting. I also added a bar code to make it look realistic.

Overall I don't think anything was extremely difficult it was all just very time consuming. I learned a lot about all of the programs that I didn't know before. I found things I like and dislike about each program. I feel like this project was really repetitive and I did the same things over and over again. Some challenges I faced were learning how to combine two images which I am now a pro at after doing it over and over. I think I was more successful than not during the course of this project.
