potential research questions:

How do religious upbringings affect children into adulthood?

How has a system of moral superiority based of religion effected the relationships between adults.

Research support: Though I would do it from an unbiased perspective my main findings seem to be that it is harmful. While I would include a counter argument, this article supports my main one regarding its harmful effects.

Main findings: religious education is linked with self rated poorer health. It can help with positive emotions as this religion can be used as a coping mechanism, along with supportive religious communities, yet this runs the risk if later issues regarding internal conflict and distress. Can lead people not to drink/smoke due to religious rules, hence healthier life style. However with further research rather than a small selected group research shows religion has caused more depression and overall worse mental health, the correlation increases within religious adults.

Research study: https://www.psypost.org/a-religious-upbringing-in-childhood-is-linked-to-poorer-mental-and-cognitive-health-in-later-life/

study method: analytical study
