I didn't know about the big float event before reading this article. Good thing is that I found it earlier so I can join the event. This event represents a way to connect people and transform Portland's relationship with the Willamette River. I am not sure about participating in this event because I don't have any float yet. I will buy it as soon as possible, but I will definitely go there to watch those activities which will be organized there in July 10th, 2022 such as parade, float, beach party in downtown Portland that benefit the Human Access Project (nonprofit organization). Furthermore, There will be an atmosphere of excitement. It is in summer, and that is perfect for me because there is less chance of rain in summer. In this event, there will be many colorful and unique shaped floats. People will use them while floating in the Willamette River. It will be 10 year anniversary and last big float, and I am feeling happy because I will able to attend this event and little bit sad because it will the last time. I hope that these types of events will come in Portland in the future and I am looking forward to that.
