A major one (imo) would be knowing their typical desires, needs, issues, and goals and generally who they are so when you see this person struggling, you have this ideal understanding of what you can do to help them and knowing what you can do helps evaluate the kind of person you are. Hopefully everybody can show compassion and giving a helping hand to those in need (and if not maybe you're just an awful person or can't understand human emotion). Those who consistently help other people experience less depression, greater calm, fewer pains and better health.
