         <description><![CDATA[<div>Understanding others helps us understand ourselves in millions of aspects. A major one (imo) would be knowing their typical desires, needs, issues, and goals and generally who they are so when you see this person struggling, you have this ideal understanding of what you can do to help them and knowing what you can do helps evaluate the kind of person you are. Hopefully everybody can show compassion and giving a helping hand to those in need (and if not maybe you're just an awful person or can't understand human emotion). Those who consistently help other people experience less depression, greater calm, fewer pains and better health.<br><br>oh 🤬 I wrote a lot and I think I repeated myself like 5 times.</div>]]></description>

It allows us to understand others of similar marginalization because we are able to relate to them and empathize based on our own parallel experiences. </div>]]></description>

I think seeing how others act around us make us evaluate ourselves more because we can see that we don't like the way someone is doing something or acting, it reflects back on us to see if we do those same things and it makes us want to change ourselves, or vice versa and see the good traits in people and we want to add that to ourselves.
