Question #1: Since music is an escape for me, I would spend my Saturday playing my guitar and practicing some blues. I’m a little shy but I feel like I can express myself through music. I often get caught up in my parents arguments a lot and it stresses me out. So playing my guitar really helps me settle. Since I get told that I may not look like a normal Puerto Rican boy, playing my guitar helps me ignore that.
Analysis: I think Roberto would respond to that in that way Because in the story he explains how music/ his guitar is a getaway for him. He says how he always gets caught up parents ' arguments which probably stresses him out. He also explains how the music is an escape for him and how he gets a little shy.

Caption:
After a long day of stress, this is my go to spot for comfort
Analysis: I picked this image and subtitle on the grounds that in the story Roberto says that he rehearses guitar in his room a ton so his room must be his cheerful spot because this is go to spot to master something he has love for.

the contention of the situation is character versus society. Hannah and Yasaman are drawn nearer by an outsider in a shop and what was said to them was pretty cruel. this is a character versus society struggle since it was essentially a view from outside of hannah and Yasaman's "reality", the client was a finished outsider. I accept that Hannah would have expressed her real thoughts, all the more so guard herself and every other person who felt attacked. "She overflowed free soul and didn't appear to have any pre occupations with secondary school factions or SAT prepares", the content proof tells the peruser that Hannah is a free soul, which implies she is separately frank: fit for shielding herself as well as other people if necessary. Yasaman specifies that she regularly couldn't care less about things so on the off chance that she wouldn't mind she would go off on somebody without intuition. Yasamans grandmother acted like this on the grounds that in the story she is by all accounts depicted as a sort and insightful individual so she would give a shrewd however not inconsiderate remark dependent on the circumstance.

Hi Tyion! I've been going through all of our classwork and homework assignments and prepping grades in Google Classroom tonight! I just wanted to share that you should be proud of the work you put into class! You are very insightful and creative!! Thank you for sharing such personal anecdotes during Free Write activities. I notice you do a lot of work outside of class time -- I understand virtual learning may be difficult. I was so happy to see how much you participated in class today on 11/18. I hope for the rest of the unit you will be able to continue sharing during class time. Also, please make sure all your settings are set up right on Padlet! I can't comment/grade the assignments on here for you! Instructions are on the "Padlet Set Up" document -- it will take you 5 minutes.

Padlet Suggestions:

Character Interview: Make sure to add the question you are answering! I am assuming it is about how the character spends a Saturday night, but write the question on the Padlet note! 8/10 (+2 if you add question)

Instagram Post: I think you are spot on with the caption and analysis! Could you try to find a picture with music in the room instead of soccer? 9/10

Why I Learned to Cook Conflict: Great work! I think it was very impressive how you incorporated a quote into your writing. 10/10

Favorite Memory Imagery: Don't forget the newest post! 0/10 (for now)

I remember the first time I went to the beach. I was seven years old when I went to Bordentown beach. My family and I all decided to visit the beach during the summer. As soon as we arrived I couldn’t wait any longer so I hopped out and ran to the water. I giggled as the sand touched my feet but it was also very hot as it was almost 100° that day. I stopped in my tracks and stared deeply into the water but the sun was too bright so I couldn’t stare for long. I could also hear the kids laughing. This might sound weird but I could also smell The water, it had a salted smell to it. My mom told me to come back because I had to put on sunscreen. I was so eager to get in the water so I hurried back to my mom. As she put sunscreen on me I shifted because it was too cold. I ran back to the water with my brother and my sister and we can enjoy the rest of the day at the beach.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Its like i was dreaming or something. She was .... beautiful. There was a new girl who came to her my school. i Instantly fell in love when i saw her. But me being this shy, i would never have the guts to approach her. We were finally going on summer break and my friends and i all planned to go out of town and host a party. After school we all decided to meet up and discuss the party. We went over the beverages, foods, and the people we were inviting. I thought i should invite the new girl . I figured that way i can get to know her some more so i added her to the list. The night of the party i couldnt get my mind off me finally approaching her. As everyone entered the house i got more and more nervous as i thought she could walk in at any moment and i was right. After time went by i finally got over my nervousness and walked up to her. We began to talk and i realized that she was a really cool person. We spent the rest of the party with each other and when the party ended i asked her out. I couldn't help but think that she could say no since we just met but she she actually said yes. I felt like i learned a valuable lesson, never let your emotions get the best of you.

A lion can be used in many ways especially to describe someone. A lion can be used to to describe someone in a evil way. I think so because of how vicious a lion can get.
Another way it can be used is by describing someone in a majesty, strength, courage, and justice way. Basically to describe someone for being brave.
