Everything was peaceful in the forest until a huge electrical crack tore open reality and out of the tear hopped Glitch. Glitch was an incomprehensible mass of swirling code in the shape of whatever new creature happens to wander by. Glitch has an interest in plant-life and wants to learn more so they begin wandering the wild. After a short while, they glanced behind themselves and noticed the distorted path being left behind. The stems of the flowers became misshapen and grew textures that were unimaginable to the natural eye. Growing out of the tree branches were no longer leaves, but mushrooms. The bark on the trees was peeling, a nearby rabbit multiplied by three with every hop, shrubs sprouted into wooden flowers, a stream evaporated into bubbles. They were confused and heartbroken.

We find ourselves back with the pirate captain and his trusted first-mate Squig! This daring pair are braving the waters again today as they follow the path of the rainbow in hopes of visiting their friend, KittyBear. Along their journey they must face the treacherous seas, battle ferocious beasts, and overcome their fears. Who knows what lies at the end of the rainbow? Stay tuned…

Squig flopped onto the deck, fanning his seal face with his platypus tail. The captain wiped the sweat from his brow, falling beside his partner. They felt the heat of the sun blazing down and soon realised they were sinking deeper into the ship. The chocolate was melting! Just as they thought their situation couldn’t get any worse, the Grand Ship was hit with a loud thud. The captain paddled through the melting chocolate towards his friend when they notice the once burning sun has been covered by a dark shadow looming over their heads. Cautiously, they looked up… above them was a giant slimy tentacle ready to crash down, slicing the ship like a knife.

“Never fear!” cried the captain.

“Kittybear is here!” a voice called from the distance.

Sailing on their house of rainbows, Kittybear came flying towards the sea monster, tossing potions of all different colours at its tentacles. Clouds of rainbow smoke filled the air as the sea monster disappeared back into the depths of the water. As the terror flees, the clouds roll over the sky, blocking the hot hot sun and allowing the Grand Ship to regenerate once more.

“Thanks, Kittybear,” said the duo, “but how did you find us?”

“I just followed the sweet smell of chocolate, of course.”

With that, the captain and Squig set off once more following Kittybear’s rainbow house over the horizon towards Sand Island.

What is Misunderstood Larry’s World? (Breakout 333)

I wonder how Larry feels anytime he goes into a nightmare, does he secretly want a dream. No bad intentions, he stumbles around the dreamscape. He thinks he’s turning a nightmare into a dream, but in reality he’s turning a dream into a nightmare. Poor Larry, it’s intentional but misguided. He doesn’t understand how his presence is affecting his surroundings. Larry crossed over a bridge one day and began to interact with all these things that he found quite scary. As Larry began to change all these scary things into friends, he didn’t realise that all his insect friends were actually the scariest parts of the child’s nightmare.

How does Larry’s world evolve?

Is Larry a massive sculpture where you can walk into his belly and within the belly there are many things that can morph or change with the perspective of distance, light and the space as well.

Or is he this little spec that tells you to lay down on the ground and the world around you starts to change through projection/colour/shapes/smells/sounds to suggest nightmares or dreams.

(The Creepy Larry, #1)
