Before starting to teach at school, I was trained in an innovative experiential approach to teaching and learning that has inspired me to embrace CPD.
I have also been very fortunate to participate in some really insightful MOOCs here (Blended Learning, Digital Strategy with SELFIE, Embracing Diversity in the Language Classroom) as well as to contribute to Erasmus+ projects for Innovation run by innovative Universities in Europe providing feedback as a classroom teacher. I believe I have gained invaluable benefits for me and for my classes, most importantly, empowerment.
Now I am looking forward to sharing this all with my school-based colleagues who are struggling with the challenges of the times.

I've worked for 10 years in a very small school with a group of great colleagues (all young, all very motivated) and we used to share both good and... less good experiences on a regular basis. It started out as a very simple way to share good practices or to unwind after a particularly tough morning, then it became a habit and it was great because we already knew each other well and were able to really learn from each other. I also regularly attend online MOOCs or teaching courses (varying the length and the content) and many are really inspiring.

I am an active eTwinner. In eTwinning I participate actively to webinars, learning events and groups. When we have eTwinning project running we teachers work actively together. One part of project is that experienced eTwinners learn beginners best practices.

I am part of several learning communities that offer meaningful experiences, support for the development, promotion and informed use of online applications and educational resources in digital format, where we "travel" with joy and discover knowledge.
I have learned so far that the most important resource of a school is the teacher. And I also know that there are a few steps we take from "I can / want / act" to "We can / want / act".
The road from "I" to "us" is difficult for some, easy for others.
I believe in collaboration, as I believe that students can love all teachers; groups in which we post what we did in class - ideas, experiments, methods, and what we intend to do: challenges, questions, information about courses, training, we respond to questions, we write about what we have read, how we prepare, what problems we face. Besides, We've had some learning communities at school, which create a feeling of belonging, of identity among the participants which are very healthy for a school teaching environment.

We work in different schools but we all are focused on creating the best possible artistic development environment for us and for our students. No. I have participated in something similar: in my school we linguists meet and discuss our gradeing and we plan some events together but I think it is far from exchangeing methods of learning for the sake of learning, our exchangeing and discussions take place in a more informal environment.

Yes , I have been attending lots of online language courses like Cambridge Assessment English, or the ones organised by McMillan, Oxford, Egis schoolbooks publishers, or Polish publishers as well. Besides, I did online course on mediating graduating with a certificate.Naturally in school we do cooperate in a school-based foreign language team. I must say I especially enjoy external-studying because this guarantees the access to specialists and that is what I appreciate the most in any self-educating courses . The time spent on learning must be quality time and fully prductive.I am addicted to expanding my skills and knowledge.

I share the opinion that continuous training is essential for the exercise of the teaching profession. Every year I take face-to-face training courses (at my school); I participate in Erasmus and Etwinning projects; and participate in Webinars. I would love to be part of a European-level professional development network that operates regularly and allows for effective sharing of knowledge at European level. The School Education Gateway is a good start, but there could be conferences at the same time that allow direct contact between teachers, school directors, education specialists and politicians.

I found a beautiful community on Instagram #teamdocenti, which provides many stimuli in the exchange not only of practices, but of reflections on issues, on teaching methodologies, proposes experimentation such as the implementation of an interdisciplinary UDA between teachers of different school orders and geographical backgrounds. I <3 #teamdocenti. I wish there was a PLC at the school where I teach as well.

In my first teaching experience, I met some collegues who helped me professionally and I learnt a lot from them. Collaboration is really important for a real professional development and I continue to attend courses, webinairs or projects that offer the opportunity to learn and exchange professional experiences.

I regularly participate on a school-level PLCs. The teachers are divided into two groups: STEM subjects and language/arts/social studies subjects. We discuss the activities and projects that we plan on doing.
As far as MOOCs online courses are concerned, I haven't had the chance to participate yet.

I have never built a professional commuunity but I'd like to start one asap. I've took part in some courses where teachers shared their experiences and it has been exiciting. I like working in team but I often find difficulties in envolving colleagues in projects because may think it takes too much time to work together.

From my own experience, I have attended online workshops to enhance my understanding in particular subject. Normally the workshops attended were mind boggling because you attempt to listen and question for further clarifications. Basically, it makes you to learn more when you are in a group.
