Anonymous originator is a piece of traditional, instrumental Norwegian music in which is mostly used in older tunes in which this type of piece is called a slått. Aural transmission are traditional music passed ear to ear for generations without the use of written notes. This type of clothing is called bundad which means "clothing", a pretty new creation made by the Norwegians in around the 19th century. Traditionally, bunads were worn to show their background and their family. Nowadays, Norwegian folk would wear bunads to places they love. In celebrations however, their celebrations are similar to American holidays. Norwegians usually celebrate the common holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and New Year's Day. Instead of Independence Day, they have Constitution Day and they have a public holiday called Workers' Day in which workers protest to attract the government in helping them with their problems. The traditional food that Norwegians eat are pretty tasty. Their Røkt laks or salmon are really good to eat. Or their amazing fiskesuppe (fish soup). For example, in the winter, the Arctic Fox creates dens in the arctic tundra to be used for generations. The main language spoken in Norway is the language of Norwegian.
