         <description><![CDATA[<p>Around 15,000 UGC-funded Bachelor's degree programmes are offered to JUPAS system every year. According to the statistics from JUPAS, 49.28% of JUPAS applicants received an offer in 2021.</p><p><br></p><p>According to the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters (HKACMGM), most universities do not have a fixed ratio of intake for both JUPAS and Non-JUPAS students. However, the general consensus is that about 15% - 20% of admission seats to Year 1 are allocated to Non-JUPAS.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Students in the International Stream in Forms 5 and 6 choose three GCE A-level electives from the subjects (core or elective) they are currently studying. Students in Form 4 IGCSE-focused study a total of 7 subjects plus Chinese, and will only continue with 3 of them plus Chinese. It may even be possible to start a new elective in Form 5, e.g. GCE A-level Psychology, Geography or PE.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Now that DSE students are required to take three elective subjects in Form 4 (instead of the previous two), does this mean they will have to sit for seven DSE exams instead of six — namely (1) English, (2) Core Math, (3) Chinese (4) CS, (5) Elective 1 (from X1 or X2), (6) Elective 2 (from X3 or X4), and (7) the X3 subject? <br><br>In terms of the school timetable, what would this mean — shorter lesson times per subject, or the sacrifice of self-study periods (SSP)?</p>]]></description>
