47 by Walter Mosley

I thought that 47 was a really good book because I was taught a lot about slavery through this book. I liked how the writer wrote very descriptively, because it helped me visualize the book better. I thought that it was cool that it had historical details in the book, but also a bit of magic and make believe.

Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel by Jeff Kinney

I enjoyed reading Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel, because it brought me back to my elementary times when I loved reading this series. I remember buying the whole set and was interested in getting a bit of a refresh from my past. I think it is super neat that there are so many more that I haven't read yet. It was also fun to read some comics than just regular books for a change.

Armada by Ernest Cline

Armada was a really fun book to read, because it always kept me on my toes. I loved how Ernest Cline incorporated a bunch of 80s references into his book. I thought it was super cool to read about a dystopian future that had a retro game aspect woven into the story. Another thing that I thought was really cool was how the main character could teleport into his game then come back to reality. I thought it was nice to have two very different worlds have so much impact on one another in the story.

What I really liked about this comic was the fact that I could see my favorite TV show 's characters be live on a book page. I loved the details and colors that was put into it. Since the season is on a break, it was fun to be able to read this comic in between the waiting time for the next season to come out!

Cured is the continuation of the first book of the series, Stung. But, this time the story has switched perspectives. Instead of us reading what is happening to Fiona, we are reading about Jacqui. They have to go against ruthless raiders in order to get to their target.

I really like this book because it was really fun to have historical events occur in the book. This is while I was learning them in Social Studies. I definitely learned new things about the American Revolutionary War. The plot of the whole story was thought out very well. It made reading from the main character, Tim Meeker's view very interesting. This is since we are about the same age, it was cool to see what my life might have been like if I was alive in that time period. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend, because it informational and interesting at the same time.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Le

I really enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird because I liked how it touched on very difficult situations for the time it was published. I really like the suspense with Boo Radley in the book and how mysteriously he was portrayed. I actually like this book so much, I wouldn't mind reading it again. Seeing Scout grow was very interesting to see especially since her aunt came to live with her, she was forced to change. I would recommend this book to a friend because of the classic story line that also teaches an important lesson by talking about controversial topics such as gender, rape, and class
