I stood at the starting line of a three kilometer race. I was anxious and nervous. I could smell the tension in the air. The other nine competitors were beside me, stretching and getting ready. I gazed in the direction of the finishing line, and the race begun. Three minutes later, I found myself in the last place, with an up-slope in front of me. 'You can do it. Don't you dare give up now.' I thought to myself. Gathering my courage, resolve and strength, I raced forward, at full speed, passing three of my competitors. I picked up my momentum when the down-slope came, and passed another three competitors. 
Taking in a deep breath,  I sprinted, with my eyes looking only in the direction of the finishing line. Everything around me dissolved into mist. 
One by one, I passed my competitors, gradually climbing into first place.
Seconds later,  I was running side by side with the person who was originally in first place. The finish line was in sight. I clenched my fists, leaned forward, and ran. And ran. And ran. When I passed the finish line,  my gaze shifted to my classmate. The leader of the army explained the battle strategy to the soldiers while they were listening very intently. After explaining the plan, the leader ordered his soldiers to charge forward and attack. They slowly got faster and were cheering very loudly. They slowly got faster and easily sliced the opponents into half one by one. The enemy soldiers slowly got less and less until the enemy general stabbed the leader of the large army. Everyone became silent and things became hopeless. The soldiers were killed by the enemy soldiers and the army was at the brink of losing. All of a sudden, the leader stood up and used the knife that was in him to stab the enemy general back. All the soldiers cheered and managed to defeat the enemy. They slowly left the battlefield and walked into the palace. It reminded me of the olden chinese dynasties' courtroom. The loud banging music sounded like drums being hit, summoning the relevant parties, both the defendants and the plaintiff. The main judge asks the plaintiff to state the case as the audience tries to move in closer to take a peek. The witnesses were summoned one by one in an orderly fashion. They all attempted to lie as the plaintiff have bribed and threaten them to tell the opposite of the truth. However, they were no match for the high court. They were threatened a death sentence after being exposed and therefore was forced to tell the truth. Just when the High Court were about to sentence the plaintiff, he tried to escape his fate but were entangled in the strings of destiny. Alas, he was caught by the gurads and put up to be excutioned. Everything was at stake; either I keep my title and my position, or my opponent takes it and I am left with nothing. One misstep and I can say goodbye to my life's worth of work in my career as a professional boxer. I may have been the undisputed champion in the circuit but my opponent was no pushover as he had destroyed the other contenders during his climb to fight me. The bell was sound and the match had begun. My opponent started off strong with a flurry of hooks and jabs but I dodged and blocked with ease. I returned the favor with a much stronger hook to his face, connecting with his jaw and knocking him to the ground. Before I knew it, round 1 was over. This carried on for a while till round 8. My opponent seemed to refuse to stay down, and somehow seemed even more motivated to beat me. Round 9 started and he became extremely aggressive, to the point all I could do was play defense. He kept it up until the maximum 15 rounds, when he had run out of stamina and took a punch in the chest, finally knocked out for good. I helped him up before thanking him for the great fight. He reciprocated and left the ring to rest.

 At the beginning, the music made me imagine that I was in the school hall, in the midst of a debate speech battle, and my team was currently losing against our opponents since they were highly skilled. Fortunately, a slip of the tongue from the opponents' team made the judges deduct marks from their score, and we were very relieved that they continuously made mistakes such that my team had a higher chance of winning. As the music progresses, the battle continues as well. The air was stringed with excitement, and I was too. The greatest circus in the world! Who wouldn't be excited? Finally, the show starts. The ringmaster, complete with a purple striped twin tail coat, introduces himself and then majestically sweeps his coat around, stepping to the side. Megaphone in hand, he introduces performance after performance. All of them are dangerous, and seem to become even more so with each passing stunt. Finally, the circus performance comes to a close. There were sounds of the gong, which sounded like the church bells when it turned 12 midnight. This reminded me of Cinderella, when she had to rush off because  it was 12 midnight for if she did not ,she would return back to her original state. In the middle of the music , the music was crescendo, and the tempo was accelerando. Cinderella was rushing in the pumpkin carriage back home which would no longer be a carriage as the spell would  be broken the moment it is 12 midnight. Cinderella got more nervous as time ticked away and the animals that turned into humans and horses slowly grew back their legs and hands and went back to their original form. The instruments sounded like percussion instruments and there were some vocal sounds towards the end.
