Hello there, This is Källhagen school. We are a highschool based in Virkby,Lojo. We are a school with about 300 students. In our school we have three floors and the second one is for the upper secondary pupils. I have only just started highschool here and I don’t know everything about this school yet but I have really enjoyed it. The teachers here are very friendly and this has been an easy place to make friends. Here in Finland we have free school food. Every lunch is different, and we have healthy salads. We each get to choose our own amount of food and we have it on a tray. The plates and glasses are made from plastic. The cutlery is stainless steel. Some of our food is “traditional” and that you don’t have abroad. Sometimes, the food is not very good but sometimes it’s ok. There is also a vegetarian option. Most of the time, we have some kind of soup or something with potatoes. With the meal, you can choose between milk or water. We don’t have a seating order in the cafeteria so we get to sit with whoever we want. Between each class we have a small break. It is outdoors, due to covid. In our school yard, we have: benches, trees, monkey bars and a volleyball court. Right now, the weather is fine but in winter time it will be too cold to stay outside.
