I think.....no. With the example during the industrial revolution, at that time machines replaced some of the labour-intensive jobs, and it put the public in a panic, but then until now, it only have the effect of economic transformation from labour intensive to capital intensive. So with the use of AI/machines/robots I think we can do another economic transformation to get more tertiary industries, and the works requiring only homogenous skills can be done by machines. We should treat the use of machines or robots as an opportunity :)

No, l don’t think the robots will edge human beings out. Whatever how the technology develops, there are some tasks that the AI and robots will not understand and help us to finish which like education. Just for example, the task of teachers, what they need to do is not only teach the knowledge from the textbooks to their students , but also need to help their students to overcome different difficulties, to control their emotions, to grow with positive personalities and teacher can shared their own experience and teach students how to face those difficulties however, robots and AI can’t finish those task, what they can do is teach the knowledge from the book, they can’t to teach the students one by one. Nevertheless, different students will have different understanding way but the robots can’t understand it._(:3 」∠)_

No, I don't think robots will edge human beings out. Yes, with the advancement of technology, robot are/ will be able to do a lot of things that human beings are able to do. Still, there are tasks that robots are not able to complete. For instance, given that robots are just substances that do not have any feelings or emotions, they don't have the ability to put themselves into other people's shoes. Thus, They cannot be social workers.
Also, there will be legal issues if robots are responsible for some medical operations. If a patient die due to the "doctor's" fault, is the robot or the manufacturer/ designer of the robot guilty? If the robot is guilty, will it be sent to the jail or be killed?

No,I don't think so. I think robot will replace many of the labour intensive job such as workers in the factory and farming work. And indeed, the machine is replacing unskilled workers now. However, robots will never have brain or heart and they do not have their own thinking mind and as well as emotions and feelings such as empathy. For instance, they could never replace writer as they require creativity. Although robot contains plenty of information, they could not imagine and make sth new.

And there are one things that they never can have it and it was emotion, robots/machines can't know the feelings of human, they will not sympathize human and they can't console a sad person

Yes(I choose yes because everyone choose no😂)

First and foremost, robots are more intelligent than human and can handle tasks more efficiently and accurately. The more time passes, the more mature coding and programming skills will become. With that, technology can outshine human due to error minimise and they won’t be affected by factors around the world
. Keep in mind that even geniuses are human, they will
feel depressed or get sick at some point-For the last 39 of his 76 years of life, physicist Albert Einstein (1879–
1955) suffered from chronic illness. On the flipside,
technology won’t be affected by anything, it can run
24/7. There are already a few hints that technology
would edge human out .For example, a computer beats
The world champion in ‘Go’. Therefore, I think that robots can edge human out in the future

No, at least in the stage now I don’t think machine or robots can edge human beings out. Although the technical of the machines and robots are able to do many jobs, there are some specific jobs that they can’t fulfilled as they are only the instructions of program. For example, they don’t have emotion or feelings, they cannot replace jobs that’s about human’s psycho as they can’t understand what people feel. They can only replaced jobs that not required for high professional like manufacture if they cannot overcome the problems of feeling missing.

It maybe yes in the future. AlphaGo was a good example to explain, it was the top of world of go within 2 years by Monte Carlo tree search with the support of the value network and policy network. It learn chess by imitate human players and thirty thousands ways in it’s database. When he is completely learn about the cheese, it started to play the chess set with himself( reinforcement learning) to improve his skills. At last, it use 2 years to defeat the human top player. Human are always banned themselves as they have the ability to think and learn, however, when the robots can also think and learn, even with a much more faster speed, in this situation human may really will be edge out.

No, I don't think robots will edge human beings out. Machine and robot are unbelievably growing, they can replace us in many aspects. In daily life, they can help us to wash dishes and clean the house. In the workplace, they can replace a lot of jobs that do not require special talents like a cashier. However, a robot, no matter how advanced, can never edge human beings out because they are created by programming. Therefore, they are incapable of forming relationships and generating complex feelings, so they cannot replace jobs like artists and PR. Also, machine/robots are created and under control by human beings, they can never emulate their builders. So, why would human beings create products which will ultimately edge them out?

Probably no. It is sure that jobs will be lost in the age of automation. But the creative industries will grow eventually. The main ability that robots lack is innovation. Even though the robots nowadays can learn new skills and improve constantly, they are still created by programming. And programming can not describe the whole image of creativity. We, human as the most intelligent creatures in this world, our powerful and unstoppable brain always pop out brain new ideas.
Moreover, those creations must include our mood. A good art should be contagious that attracts and amuses others. Since robots are emotionless, they will never be creators. Therefore, those artists just like writers, fashion designers, painters, composers and etc. will survive forever. So, robots will not edge human beings out.

Many jobs that require manual labor will be automated in the future. This is, however, not the first step of AI domination. Something similar happened when computers became mainstream, but we are not yet its slaves. (despite our obsession with computers and smartphones)

Because machines can only do things in the same way without any changes, there are many things that machines and AI are not able to do, such as creative work.

Yes, eventually robots will need to edge humans as humanity has its limits. There will come a day when we will exhaust our resources on our planet and we will need to go to outer space to retrieve resources. As humans, though we’re quite an advanced species, going out in space to mine asteroids by hand is not something we can do unless we waste even more resources. Thus, we will need to rely on automated robots to mine asteroids to continue to survive.
Even as we speak now, robots are able to replace what humans are most capable of, emotions. It sounds almost bizarre but it’s not out of a science fiction movie anymore. Robots are getting smarter, and they’re learning to learn. In a way, they can actually be more efficient in learning without emotions being in the way. Also, i’ve seen in a video that humanity are just made of lines and lines biological code and act on our desires. AI are just lines and lines of computer code so what makes the two different?
