Today' s session exposed me to ICT in Education Policy. Definitely, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Learning will become more interactive and creative. Students who are already familiar with technology wil be more stimulated to learn. Issues of connectivity once resolved will ensure that NO child gets left behind as even if the student has no tablet, smart phone, laptop etc, the very fact that laptops will be available will enable me to plan and execute improved lessons that utilise technology as a teaching resource.

I was happy to engage in a meaningful and interactive session that focused on an area that I know I needed to improve in . Completed the given assignment in my group and then posted it to edmodo.

Again, challenges were experienced re: connectivity to wifi.

Firstly we received our MOE email and temporary password for the free Office 365. Clearly, I would no longer have to invest in purchasing Office 365 when the current one I purchased last year ended (valid for one year).
A curriculum Officer (Religious Education visited our Centre and the session was extremely engaging.

I learnt a lot that I will utilise with my students in terms of Teaching tools and software applicable for  Social Sciences (Social Studies and History). Students will become engaged and learning will be FUN!

The password was shared and everyone was able to enjoy wifi and benefit enormously,
having viewed the S.A.M.R model it was clear that the benefits to be derived are excellent.

Mr Wilson exposed the class to Padlet and Powtoon. I have used both with my classes prior to this session and I can honestly state that the students enjoy these interactive teaching tools.

Our group created a Quiz. I am excited to create Quizzes for my students on edmodo.

Learning is continuous and this ICT Teacher Professional Development Programme  has equipped me with the necessary skills and tools to plan and execute more interactive and engaging lessons.

I chaired a small programme where our facilitator was presented with a gift and teachers shared the impact they had experienced from the ICT programme along with Mr Wilson's style of teaching.
