I am currently enrolled in the Master's in Education in School Counseling with a PPS credential. 

2. I'm working towards my PPS credential to be a school guidance counselor for K-12th grade.

3. As for my career goals, I want to work with high school students. I've worked with children as young as 3 months old (a licensed daycare), to working in an after-school program for elementary and middle school students, to most recently student teaching high school. I've found that the aspect I enjoy the most is helping high school learners see they have so many options to explore for after high school. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also hope to show future learners that their diversity is what makes them unique and strong. For this program, I have yet to start my fieldwork but I'm very excited to start!

4. I grew up in middle-class family who all speak English as their native language. I am very lucky for my parents' love of cultures and I had the wonderful opportunity to learn French from a young age. In addition to English, my parents and brother speak Spanish, while my sister and I speak French. As far as culture goes, my mother is a mix of European, while my father is Welsh and Native American (Creek, now none as Seminole). My father grew up in California and regularly visited his tribe, while my mother grew up traveling the United States. While it's definitely a common fear, I am absolutely terrified of spiders to the point where I carry around what my mom and I call our "emergency tupperware" to put over a spider if we find it in our home, car or work to hold it in place until someone can move it outside (I don't believe in killing them, so this is a great alternative). I am an avid hiker and backpacker, and Switzerland is a very popular place among the backpacking community. While I definitely think he's a top contender for the world's cutest dog, he's also the silliest dog. He's goofy, wacky, and has such a charismatic personality. Sometimes, I don't even think he's a real dog - more like a cartoon character. As I've gotten older, and inevitably busier, I have had little time to enjoy and explore the place I love the most, the ocean. I enjoy just about every aquatic sport and activity, but diving (okay and maybe surfing, too) has stolen my heart. I've been to Hawaii multiple times, but have yet to have a chance to dive out there.
