Jacoob, who broke his arm while playing with the kids, is brought to Wes to be take care of. Much to his surprise the doctor discovers that Jacoob and his family are Jews.

This stirs up a lot of dormant emotion for the doctor who is suddenly overwhelmed again by nostalgia and the weight of what he lost.

All is well that ends well, the balances is restored in the Universe, the storm passes and the Fynns can go back to live their best summer.

Kess eats her way to Istana and in the serraglio itself she rules like a boss but Wes is devastated and worried and implores Kane to take him to Istana to rescue his family.

He accept Istani's proposal to join his serraglio and there he meets Amin, the Circeius n.12, master masseur, who used to be part of Castalia's crew and a white horse.

He followed Istani to his serraglio but overstayed his welcome, against his will, by one year.

Eventually Amin convinces Istani to let him go, especially after impregnating his wife. The crew departs for the Circeius. Having been on land for a year Amin gets seasick first and then landsick.

Unfortunately, once at the Circeius, Kes has a miscarriage, the sad moment lighten up with Itzak's remarks lightening the mood.

Eventually a few years later, Kes has another baby daughter named Ruth.

Meanwhile Foxy take care of the baby and Cat and Callista have heated conversation about the possibility of having children.

On the island of Malta, Wes, Cat and Foxy are surprised to see that the woman's brother is non other than a knight hospitaller. The knight's comrade have a strong reaction against the pirates, but Cat pulls a gun out and demands they listen to Foxy.

Foxy and the Knight make a deal so that Foxy can keep the baby provided he is raised catholic and sent home to his uncle twice a year for the holidays.

The crew return home, Foxy presenting the baby to a bedridden/injured Lio (who fell off a roof) who is elated to finally be blessed with a child.

At the end of the chapter Kane returns home with Gemma and the cat Catstalia for the joy of his children (both young and adults!) XDD

And so it begins Lio's quest to appease the stork in the attempt to convince her to bring her a baby. The attempts escalate until the last one causes her to fall from a roof and hurt her little foot.

Desperate and hopeless Lio cries in Kes' arms when Foxy suddenly appears at the food of her bed holding in his arms the answer to all her prayer.

As the year passes by the possibility of it happening seem rather slim. Cosimo and Balthasar step up to give their friend the most memorable Christmas ever. Until it is their time to leave for school.

As Tirzah becomes an adult and develops feelings for Cosimo she wishes for her daughter to go through different Christmas than hers. She tells her little Penelope her dad would never let them celebrate that day alone as he knows how much it meant for mommy growing up.

Cosimo does keep the promise and brings Penelope the gift she wants. He also brings his wife the present she always wanted.

While the sisters are playing around with their kids in the house, the guys, outside, listen to Martin lamenting the fact his relationship with Pea is a little bit strained by the fact that their daughter, Andromeda, is a handful.

She is a little tyrant and she goes nowhere without her cat, the cat, Lorenzo, hates Martin.

Kane and Wes advice him to take advantage of the vacation to rekindle his love for his wife and they will take care of the kid.

Andromeda is now placed to sleep in the same room as the other children. She is placed in the same bed as Tirzah and both girls make googly eyes to Kane.

The quite evening is disrupted by Lio and Foxy being noisy. The little girls go into Kane's room, with the cat, and they tell him there's a ghost.

The cat takes a liking to Castalia.

Kane walks to Foxy's room and takes care of the situation then orders everybody to go back to sleep.

He bring the little girls back to the children's room but since Andromeda is too scared he puts her in the same bed as Balthasar.

We see a little glimpse of Balthasar and Andromeda's future mirroring the game the children are actually playing outside.

Meanwhile Martin managed to rekindle his relationship with his wife but this causes a terrible oversight on his part: his daughter plays too rough with the cat and the animal scratches her.

At first Martin is upset at the cat but Kane - a cat lover - says this is his time to control that little tyrant attitude and work at his relationship with his daughter too.

Martin rescues the cat, in a teachable moment for Andromeda. Full of gratitude the kitty gifts him a dead viper, not before being bitten.

This is where you need to clap to save Lorenzo's life and say "I do believe in diagonal cats"

The cat is saved and we all leave Badia with a happy ending.

While her sister adapt to being left behind on the island, the crew does not fare better.

Kane tries to cheer them up with drawing but they are still complaining which makes him revert to his old mercurial self.

It is decided to move everyone's family to one island to shorten the number of trips.

Upon arriving on the Island of March, the crew find the island had just been affected by an earthquake - the one we saw at the end of The Other Side story - therefore more people than expected will move to Amado island.

While Hermes and Amin, accompany Circe on a trip to meet the rest of the sisterhood (at Colapesce's palace - the same meeting Nicoli shows Kane and the others in A vision in Long Overdue), Athena is left behind to struggle with her awkward height and new training as a medic.

Meanwhile Lio is tempted by a handsome stranger and confides in her brother, who is not the best person to give her advice.

Circe receives an unexpected visitor at 4 am in the morning.
