Karl Marx, the creator of communism. he had this idea when terrible working conditions and extreme wealth inequality became of the industrialization era. workers unite. Get better conditions and fairer pay. Russia used communism in their revolution. which sparked the Capitalist USA and Communists Russia in the cold war. this is relevant to the twentieth century as it is what set the stage to the new Government style, which through USA and Russia into the cold war.

The new world. USA and Russia are trying to expand their influences. The iron curtain was the soviets Satellite states. One even wanted to join NATO And it didn't go so well. But under soviet control was brutal. The Berlin wall Was created in hopes to keep German scientists and smart people in. the smart people where smart enough not to stay. this is relevant to the twentieth century as the splitting of Germany to help get it back on its feet, Russia did not do its part. Germany is Doing good now but did have to catch up and do restructuring as the Russia did not do a great job of it.

This was not a fun war it costed the united states money they could have spent else where.
