Elves are legendary creatures that appear in the myths and folklore of many cultures around the world.In Norse mythology, elves were divine associated with nature and fertility. They were small  and they had magical powers. In Celtic legend, elves were also associated with nature and were often depicted as guardian spirits of forests and rivers. In modern popular culture, elves are often portrayed as graceful, immortal creatures of graceful beauty and intelligence. They are often associated with magic and nature.

Elves in tolkiens work's :
Tolkien created a fictional world called Middle-earth in which elves are one of the most important and influential races.
The elves in Tolkien's novels are immortal and with an  extraordinary beauty and grace, as well as great intelligence and a sensitivity to nature. They also have a strong connection to magic, which they practice through their knowledge and their mastery of the forces of nature.
Elves are divided into different races, each with their own characteristics and traditions. The best known are the Elders, considered the wisest and noblest of the Elves, and the Ashes, who have a strong affinity for nature and the forest. The Elves play an important role in the history of Middle-earth, especially in the fight against the forces of evil led by Sauron.

There are many examples of books outside of Tolkiens' works, movies and series featuring elves, here are a few examples:

The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski: This series of books and video games features elves as one of the oldest and most mysterious races in The Witcher fantasy universe.

Dungeons & Dragons Role-Playing Game 

The Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: This prequel series to Jim Henson's film The Dark Crystal features a variety of fantastical creatures, including elves.

The Forgotten Realms novel series by R.A. Salvatore: This fantasy novel series features an elven character named Drizzt Do'Urden, who has become one of the most popular characters in fantasy literature.

Elves and christmas :
In modern culture, elves are often associated with Christmas time. This association is likely due in part to fairy tales and children's stories which feature elves working for Santa Claus in his North Pole workshop making toys for children around the world.Christmas elves are often depicted as cheerful, hardworking little beings, dressed in green and red, with pointy caps and puffy shoes. They work hard to help Santa prepare the presents for the Christmas distribution.
The association between elves and Christmas is also reinforced by Christmas decorations, where elves are often depicted as small figurines or decorations in Christmas trees or on walls.

Mordor - The Land of Shadows

Mordor is a desolate and terrifying place, located in the heart of Middle-earth. It is ruled by the dark lord Sauron and is home to his armies of orcs, trolls, and other dark creatures. The land is barren and lifeless, with towering mountains, rivers of fire, and a smoky sky that always seems to be filled with ash.
At the center of Mordor lies Mount Doom, a fiery volcano where Sauron forged the One Ring, the source of his power. It is said that the only way to defeat Sauron and destroy the Ring is to journey to Mount Doom and cast it into the fiery chasm.
But the journey to Mount Doom is perilous, and anyone who enters Mordor risks being captured, tortured, or killed by Sauron's armies. The landscape is treacherous, with hidden traps, poisonous swamps, and sheer cliffs that drop into bottomless pits.
Despite the dangers, a small group of brave heroes, including hobbits, men, elves, and dwarves, set out on a quest to destroy the Ring and bring an end to Sauron's reign of terror. They must navigate the hostile terrain of Mordor, evade the watchful eyes of Sauron's minions, and overcome their own doubts and fears if they hope to succeed.
So if you dare to enter Mordor, be prepared for a journey that will test your courage, your strength, and your will to survive. But know that the fate of Middle-earth rests on your shoulders, and the rewards of victory are beyond measure.

They all like alike, and they work in the mines. Dwarves are one of the creatures who can speak in the middle-earth created by Tolkien. They are blacksmiths and miners. They are violent with humans and elves. Tolkien was inspired by Nordic mythology and medieval Germanic beliefs. He keeps the aspect of the blacksmith for dwarves in his novels “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the ring”. He also keeps the violent aspect of dwarves present in the mythology and the same way of liver than the mythology, they live underground. We can find them in tales, in League of Legends, in the middle-earth and in Snow White. In the novels of Tolkien, we have many creatures with many different races. Some of them are in conflict and can’t live together. For example, dwarves with them conflict side don’t like elves. Tolkien was disgusted by the Disney’s universe. They have been present in literature for centuries and their representation has evolved over time. In ancient myths, they were often seen as protectors or guardians, then in the Middle Ages, they became symbols of evil and destruction. 
One of the most famous representations of dragons in literature is found in J.R.R Tolkien's Hobbits and the Lord of the Rings, where he describes dragons as cunning, powerful and treacherous creatures capable of destroying entire cities. Indeed, Tolkien has been fascinated by dragons since he was a child, and so he was inspired by the story of the dragons of the third age, which is linked to the story of the dwarves of the Grey Mountains and the Erebor, who are fighting for the riches of the land. With this inspiration he creates the dragon Smaug, "the last of the great dragons". He hunts the dwarves of Erebor. 
Dragons are also popular in video games and movies. They are often depicted as fierce and impressive creatures, capable of devastating attacks. Tolkien was also heavily influenced by Germanic heroic legends, especially by the Norse and old english forms. Before going to Oxford, he went to King Edward's School in Birmingham, and during this time(1910's)he read and translated from the old Norse in his free time. One of his first Norse purchases was the Volsunga saga.

When Tolkien died in 1973, he had a net worth equal to 50 millions. Gollum was originally a kind and curious
Hobbit who enjoyed fishing and boating.
However, his obsession with the Ring quickly consumed him, and he became increasingly isolated and paranoid. He was banished by his community and retreated to a cave in the Misty Mountains, where he lived for centuries.
Gollum is known for his split personality, with his former self, Sméagol, occasionally resurfacing and showing moments of remorse and compassion. He speaks in a unique, hissing voice and often refers to himself in the third person. Gollum's physical appearance is also notable, with his large, bulging eyes and long, thin fingers.
Throughout the "Lord of the Rings" series, Gollum plays a significant role as both a guide and a barrier to the main characters, Frodo and Sam, on their quest to destroy the Ring.

Despite his disloyal nature, Gollum's tragic story and complex personality have made him a memorable and fascinating character in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings."

When Bilbo passed the One Ring to Frodo, he set out on a perilous journey to destroy it, accompanied by his loyal friend, Samwise Gamgee, and a fellowship of companions that included Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Merry, and Pippin.

Frodo and his companions faced numerous challenges and dangers along the way, including encounters with orcs, trolls, Nazgûl (Ringwraiths), and other creatures serving Sauron. They also experienced betrayals and sacrifices as they made their way to Mount Doom. Frodo's burden of carrying the ring weighed heavily on him, and he struggled with the ring's corrupting influence. However, with the help of Samwise and the unwavering support of his friends, Frodo reached Mount Doom and destroyed the ring, ultimately defeating Sauron and saving Middle-earth from his evil grasp.

After the ring's destruction, Frodo returned to the Shire, but he was forever changed by his experiences. He suffered from the emotional and physical wounds of his journey and found it difficult to adjust to life in the Shire.
