As usual, I am quite free today but I feel very thankful to my boss because she teach  me a lot of things and I have gain a great experienced in this job, I know how to deal with customer with more patient, learn some basic knowledge in manicure and also improve my confidence when talking to others. I think it is such a good experienced and it will be very helpful in my future career. 

Lastly, I tidy up all the some documents at counter, and arrange the products and samples nicely. Before leaving, I have says thanks to my boss that she is willing accept all my good and weakness and apologize that if I have do those mistakes during these days. 
P/S: me and my boss.

Because of we only have two professional manicurist, so my boss decide not to receive  customers any more for today. When my boss starting the treatment, I also  giving out some sample to other people for selecting the nail polish color and introduce them some  new arrival product.

After lunch time, we continue work until 5pm. Suddenly, my boss ask to close the salon due to some emergency. Luckily, we have finished all the work, then today we close the salon earlier.

Maybe my boss can sense my feeling of discouraged, then she came to invite me going out for  lunch and advised me during lunch time. She ask me no need to feel stressful, she also told me that experienced is very important but I am still young and  still have time to learn. My boss is a very kind person and willing to teach.

In the rest of days, it will be more challenges for me, because I have to improve efficiency in work and try to improve the customers satisfaction.
P/S: places that provide facial treatment to customer.

As usual, when customer come, I check with the customer about the booking details then serve them. The process quite boring but needed attentive. Today I only serve the customers because most of the customers come for embroidery and eyelash extension, so I cannot take part into the treatment because it should be carry out by  professional staf. 

I feel more stressful compared to the past few days, because I have nothing to do but only serve the customer. I hope I can give more contribution in the rest of day.
P/S: places that provide manicure and pedicure for customer. 

Although there are more customers come to our salon, but majority of them come for booking only. Besides that, I also received call from customer for booking facial care service.

Today, I am more chaotic because I cannot answer some question that customer has ask me. But luckily, my boss help me to solve the problem and encourage me to do better in next time. I also promise her that I will work harder because she helps me a lot.   
P/S: i am provide some facial treatment to customer.

When customer seated, I will ask the customer to select a polish colour. Then prepare some warm water with foot-bath-soap. The warm water will softens the skin for easier removal of dry skin and calluses. I take this time to clean the dirt from underneath the nails, I have to carefully to remove the dirt and dead skin because it will cause bleeding.

So, there is few customers today, I also try my best to promote some package to customer. While they waiting for the treatment, I have prepare some tea for them and I also have explain some details of the package. For example, the Independent Day is coming soon, so DE S’ AMOUR also have launching some special offer nail care services along this month. Besides that, some nail art also included the element of  patriotism.

Luckily, there is a customer that is willing to become a volunteer to let me do the practice. But I only in charge the easy part of the whole treatment and the rest will be carryout by my boss himself. 

I follow  step by step that my boss has guides me by my side. Firstly, I give the customer’ feet a mini massage by rubbing on a special lotion which known as moisturizer. Then  prepare some warm water and soak the customer’ feet into the water to soften the skin. After that, my boss will continue the rest of the treatment.

After lunch time, I also have received some calls from customer for booking for the nail care treatment. For today, I am feeling excited because I can learn foot massage and giving services for customer.

When I am arrived, my boss already at the salon and she is start cleaning around the salon. Then, I also quickly to settle everything and tidy up things at the counter. After that, my boss ask me to stand by at the counter.

My boss try to comfort me because I seems to be a little nervous and feeling awkward. She also told me that there is not too much thing need to do for today because today only have two customers booking for nail care services.

Today, I am quite free but I also cannot wasting time. I spend time on study the product and some details in nail art services, embroidery and eyelash extension. Besides that I also as an assistance to prepare tools and equipment when my boss is carry out the treatment.

After briefing section, my boss took me look around the environment of the salon. Besides that, my boss also teach me about the product, and nail care services so that I am more understanding when I need to introduce or promote the package to customers. 

As a new worker, I have to learn a lot of thing because I has no experienced in this job before. For example, the things that I have learned for today is learning the details of nail care services in different packages.

As usual, it is not easy to digest everything in one day, I need more time to learn and practice so that I am more able to provide a good and quality service to customer. Hence, observation is the best way to learn.
