2. Complete each end of topic quiz on the GCSE Religious Studies Moodle page

3. Complete and revise from A3 sheets (from lessons)

4. Draw mind maps using your paper revision guide

5. Study with friends and test each other's knowledge

6. Choose a set of questions for each unit in a past paper (ask Mr Betts, visit H9 or download from Moodle)

7. Make cue cards of key religious teachings about the main issues in each unit

8. Practice your exam technique

9. Post a question to the RE department on this site by double clicking on the page

10. Make concise notes from the revision power-points from this site (also on Moodle)

Exam Technique

The exam is 1hr 30 mins. You will answer one set of questions on each unit. Your choice should be based on which C & D question you think you can answer the best! You have about 22 minutes for each set of questions, roughly a minute per mark!...

WHAT ARE THE QUESTIONS LIKE?

A questions are worth 2 marks and often ask you give a definition of a key term
B questions are worth 4 marks and ask you to give 2 developed reasons for your opinion
C questions are worth 8 marks and ask you to explain Christian or Muslim teachings about an issue. You must give 4 developed reasons.
D questions are worth 6 marks, but split into two parts. First, you must give reasons why you agree or disagree with the statement provided (3). Second, you must give an opposite point of view. In either part you must refer to a religion (teachings, beliefs, attitudes)

WHAT IS A DEVELOPED REASON?

POINT + REASON or EVIDENCE or EXAMPLE
