         <description><![CDATA[<p>Chicago race riot of 1919. Sunday, July 27 1919. Racial tension leads to a fight on a beach. Eugene Williams, a black teenager, accidentally floats onto the white side of the beach, and rocks are thrown at him. One hits him and kills him. Leads to 8 bloody days of riots, which sparks more riots in other cities. This time called the Red Summer.</p>]]></description>

After rape accusations against a black man, violence breaks out in the Tulsa district of Chicago, Illinois. fighting eventually leads to the black neighborhood being burned, bombed and destroyed, and many of its inhabitants murdered.
