Book Review #1 Chronicles of Narnia: The Magicians Nephew

This story is set in London, England but ends up somewhere else; Narnia. This is a mainly fantasy book for many reasons you will find if you read the story, but follows two completely realistic, normal children. This is a series, so if you enjoy this one, you have plenty others with similar writing styles to chose from. In my opinion, the story starts off a little slow, and has a lower vocabulary than some other stories, but picks up quickly, and is such a famous book for a reason. In conclusion, I think this book is definitely worth your time.

This book sounds pretty interesting and if I like it, there are more books like this one because it is in a book series. I also like that it has a low vocabulary level because I don't know a lot of words.

This book is set in dystopia ran by a cruel high priestess , and a magical land with talking statues and mystical creatures. Every year in the dystopian land something called "the purge takes place for those who have made a mistake or infraction in their life such as singing and dancing. They than become "Unwanted" and are sent to the death farm in which they will be drowned boiling oil. After the protaganist is nearly into the oil after becoming Unwanted, he is saved by a creature from the other land. This is a series of books, and each follows the protaganists adventures in leaning magic and eventually attempting to overthow the dystopia. This is a very solid fantasy series which is very creative in its events and writing.
