I ragazzi di alcune classi della scuola media Casteller di Paese hanno avviato un progetto di colture fuorisuolo con un risparmio di acqua del 90% rispetto alle colture tradizionali sfruttando il compost prodotto dai lombrichi riciclando il cibo della mensa.

La scuola del futuro ed ideale secondo me è una scuola in cui i ragazzi vengano felici di apprendere, uno spazio libero da gabbie in cui essi si possano sentire protagonisti. Insegno in una scuola secondaria di secondo grado e la lamentela che sento più di tutte è la sensazione di sentirsi in prigione piuttosto che a scuola. Il covid ha ulteriormente inasprito questa sensazione di immobilità. Non possono muoversi, non possono uscire, non possono passare da una parte all'altra della scuola e sono sempre super visionati da docenti che più che facilitatori dell'apprendimento sembrano guardiani. Ovviamente tutto ciò provoca un continuo tentativo di infrazione alle regole. La scuola che vorrei è una scuola in cui i ragazzi si sentano liberi di muoversi e si sentano felici di starci. Solo delle persone felici avranno la motivazione necessaria ad apprendere e a diventare i cittadini di domani.
