         <description><![CDATA[<p>I. Paul wrote these letters to Titus <br></p><p>II. There are examples of grace and peace from God and to greet those around you. </p><p>III. Paul does not exactly write about thanksgiving or prayer in Titus. <br></p><p>IV. The letter to Titus message of producing living right through the careful attention to theological truth. Paul gave instructions to Titus about the roles of specific groups of people—older men, older women, young women, young men, and slaves as well as general instructions to all believers about their conduct. Example: “gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed,” saving us “by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 2:14, 3:5).<br></p><p>V. <sup>"</sup>Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith.</p><p>Grace be with you all" (Titus 3:15). Titus teaches us to live with attention to the "theological truth". </p>]]></description>

</p><p>2: <b>Greetings</b>:
Peter greets those that God has chosen and are believers throughout the
provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. “To God’s elect,
exiles, scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia,
Asia, and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God
the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit… <u>Grace and peace be
yours in abundance</u>” (1:1-2)</p>3: <b>Thanksgiving/ Prayer</b>: Peter does not have prayer or thanksgiving.
4: <b>Body</b>: The
letter focuses on the saving grace of Christ that “has given us a new birth
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance
that can never perish, spoil, or fade.” (1:3-4). There is suffering involved with being a
Christian, “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come
on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.” (4:12)
