Since I work for an NGO, we found it hard to navigate through buying cold boxes (we had a total of 14 team leads and under each team lead we had at least 20-30 volunteers who were working with these cold boxes). For context, the smallest cold box, that could hold at least 15 vaccines, costed about RM 10,000 (yes these boxes are expensive!). However we do have this data available in our financial statements.


As one of the team leads, and as one of those individuals who had to fight to get one of these boxes, I was very interested in knowing how we could navigate through this issue, as it caused a lot of conflict. Therefore, something that I would love to collect qualitative data on is: To analyse the operational logistics and strategic interventions that enabled effective vaccine rollout across diverse geographic settings in Malaysia.
