I am going to be making a music video and using the song smooth criminal by Micheal Jackson. I managed to get a lot of images and ideas down to help we with getting ideas to created my video. I was able to get a general idea of what i am going to be making and how i am going to be doing it. we are going to have one main stand out character who is going to look different then everyone else so he stands out the most. The main issue with the idea is getting the suit for the main character. We are going to be trying to go to drama to find one or search on the internet for the cheapest one we can get.

I added technology like the editing software I will be using (premiere pro) I also added the equipment that I will need to make my music video successful for example a camera and lighting as well as LED lighting. I did not have any problems with this task I was able to finish it successfully and I added a lot of images to my mood board to make It look great and to stand out more to the people assessing it. I showed examples of certain shots that I am going to try and capture for my music video like close up shots and extreme long shots. I had to go through them and see if i had any missing work and if i did i would have to do it and upload the task as soon as possible. I started by searching through my 999 hoax call project i was able to look over all of the work with the assignment brief to aid me with knowing what work Has to be there. When i had finished looking i was happy because i had all of the task's on there and i did not have to do any work to catch up. After looking all though the 999 project i had a glance at my music video project. By looking though that i saw that i had only one task missing and i did not realise because by accident i uploaded the wrong work to the wrong task. so i will be able to upload that task the next day and when i do that all of my tasks will be in place and i would have successfully uploaded and completed all of my task's for music video and 999 project. For this task i had to research different music videos and explain how they influenced me with making my music video. One of these songs is called everybody by the Backstreet Boys. Doing this project i learnt how to research in depth about this music video and really find out why it was in the style they decided to make it in and how it links in to my video. This task helped me improve my skills in researching because it showed me how to dig deep and find facts that you would not be able to find if you just looked up the song. The problems that i faced was that i found it difficult to find music video which would correspond to mine. It took me a few minutes to discover a video that would influence me. I started my doing the the equipment audit i added what equipment that i am going to need and if it is going to be free and what day i am going to be needing to use it. I managed to get that finished but i will have to add certain times because as of right now i am not to sure when i am going to be needing to use equipment like a camera and studio lights. Today i was also able to fill out a risk assessment for both the motion and my house. The reason for doing it for both of these is because this is where i am going to be shooting my music video. I added what kind of risks i might be facing for example loose wires and props on the floor and i described how i would resolve these problems and issues. For example i said that we would have to keep in touch with our actors just in case they do not know the timings and location for our video. The last task that i did today was the risk assessment for my house. I mentioned that there might be some props and ornaments of mine that might have to be moved. At the end of the day i was allowed to take pictures for my storyboard and i got some students to help me with this. These tasks really helped me improve my skills in story boarding and in making risk assessment because the first time i did is i found it very hard to think of risk and locations to film bu this time around i already had all ideas in my head which made it so much easier to start my storyboard and make the risk assessments. The only problem that i found today was starting the storyboards because i did not know if i wanted to write them and draw them myself or do it on the computer but after i decided to take pictures and make it on the computer and not manually i found it  easy after that. The technique that i improved on was story boarding i learnt how i could do it on the computer and i found it a lot faster that way. I had to improve some of the photos i took for the story board because we did not have props to make the setting look the way we wanted so i had to Photoshop some props in. The skills i learnt was how to improve story boards by using our own pictures that we took. After that I decided to make a start on the production schedule so we both know what times and where we are going to be filming our video. The production schedule help me with getting organised better so that when it comes to making the video will not be very confused of what I am doing an did all be able to just start the making s fast as possible. We had some triple trying to figure out what shots we wanted to do and were we wanted them to come. I did not learn any new techniques while doing this because I had done this same task for our second project that we had to do. I had to created a table with images and writing telling the drama area which costumes we are going to need when we film. after i had complete the table me zakk and Dave all went down to drama to pick up the costumes wear going to be using in our music video. we were able to find all the costumes that we are going to be using and after we got them all me and zakk took images of them and posted them on our padlet. I started by looking over the shot list and figuring out what short to do first.
