Artist: Neolithic Banshan
Date: 1600 BCE

- It's beautiful design on the front caught my attention, since the rest of the vase is so simple.

- This vase looks more simple to create, and the design could easily be carved into the vase.

- The lack of colour and the amount of dust makes it look very old. Able to be distinguished from the others as the oldest piece.

kids.britannica.com/students/assembly/view/24383

Artist: Adil Ghani
Date: 2014

- What mostly caught my eye were the splashes and stripes of colour at the bottom of the vase. The simplistic yet beautiful colour designs make this vase stand in today.

- The underglazing process would take the longer amount of time, maybe using paper of some sort to prevent underglaze from going to unwanted parts of the pot.

theabilitypeople.com/staff/adil-ghani/

Vases seemed to get more colourful, with more colours being easily made into underglazes over time. As well as people learning more simple designs were still just as good as years ago. People were also able to create these designs more easy than before, being able to produce more pottery than ever due to the less time taken.

All the vases have different ways of design. The first one using no colour, and instead carved-in designs all over it. The second one focuses a lot on the shape and pattern, with it being a large flower-patterned vase. The third one bases more around the colour aspect, the general idea of the piece revolving around the splash of rainbow on the vase.

All these vases have unique designs to them, dedicated to their timeline. However, they all feature patterns in their designs. With the first being a carved design and the other two being painted on. The pottery all also share a curved opening at the top of the vase, with it spreading out.
