Dear Claudine,

How are you doing? I just wanted to share something exciting with you — I have started learning how to play the guitar! First, I borrowed my cousin’s guitar and watched a few beginner videos online to get the basics. Then, I bought my own guitar at the mall last week. Although it is a little difficult at the start, I am already starting to play simple chords. In addition, I have been practicing every evening, and I can already play a couple of songs!

However, my fingers still hurt from all the strumming. But, I am determined to get better, so I will keep practicing. Finally, I hope to play a song for you or let us jam together the next time we meet!
