Should we consider assigning something less easy to cheat upon?<br><br>*Do we have too much homework when kids are over-scheduled and pressured to do everything perfectly?<br><br>*Students feel they should know all the answers and exactly how to do it right away.<br><br>*Instant information culture<br><br>Recommendations:&nbsp;<br>1)Do the easily plagiarized assignments in class?<br>2) Write final draft from notes you have written (there is an intermediate step)<br>3) In-class writing in English for example with WIFI off<br>4) Make clear and repeat culture/expectations of saying you don't know how to do it/you might have to write more simply first/it's a draft---better to be late/ask for help than to cheat/plagiarize&nbsp;<br>5) Patience and stamina of the PROCESS of learning; not knowing right away is ok and good<br>6) Is it really safe to make a mistake here??
