The quotes describe how ugly Janie thinks Logan is. Logans treatment of Janie is very equal and mature but janie is too young and doesnt want that. She wants a true deep, self consuming type of love that Logan doesn't offer
Group 3: He is alluring, indigent, affable, cunning AND CONFIDENT. The quotes basically describe the deep emotional connection that Janie and Tea Cake have. Janie learned how to be young again. She also learned how to love on her own terms. Tea Cake is the opposite of her previous husbands who treated her as a trophy housewife instead of a lover.
