Cooper realized that he needed  to do something striking to persuade people. He needed to show the future: they had to create a mobile phone. There was 20 people to make the phone, who worked day and night without resting.
Martin Cooper may not be famous nowadays, but his invention is more known by more than half of the world's population that has a mobile phone. The idea of having a phone in hand was in his mind since he was a little kid.
