During mealtime, educarer may name the foods being fed to encourage language development and familiarity with food items.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.2 - Educarers foster a disposition for learning</p><p>Eg. In language development, they may engage children through interactions or puppet play.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.3 - Curriculum offers holistic experiences for learning</p><p>Eg. Through art activity, children are able to develop cognitive, emotional, social, physical and sensory development.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.4 - Educarers provide access to a variety of spaces and materials</p><p>Eg. During art activities, the educarer should offer a minimum of six materials for children to explore, for example, brushes, sponges, paint, leaves, twigs, and flowers.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.5 - The environment is safe and healthy</p><p>Eg. Ensure that materials provided are age-appropriate and hygiene practices are adhere to.</p>]]></description>
