Encouraging our classmates to turn up with their parents and be a part of events like these is something we needed to really push. It was a pretty successful night but would've been that little much better if everybody was there.

I suggest that next year, we involve the parents more by taking them out on the water. Not just for a ride like we had originally planned to happen this year, but take them out in waders, with gloves, and hammers for a day out on the farm. This would allow parents to see the students in their element whilst learning and running the farm. By having the parents out on the water they learn how the farm works, and make the student's job easier by getting more done on the farm.
