TO TEACHERS (AND STUDENTS)

Ever since the beginning of the school year, I never thought that my high school days would be the best, or the opposite.

During last year's summer, I wondered if things will be the same like the previous years, one side of me said maybe, and another said that its not likely, it was scary, I will be faced with things that I'd never encountered before, maybe I'll alone at some point, and after a little bit of thinking, i settled with the fact that I won't have that much happy memories this year.

But that doesn't say that in the beginning, i already gave up, I still decided to go and enter the meet, get at least a good impression with who i will be with this year, like the saying "you can't judge a book by its cover"

When I first met all of you, I had to get used to my surroundings, with all the customs around JHS, and other things, I have to admit, it was hard getting the stuff inside my head, I'm not used to change, in fact its hard to get used to change.

Through the months that we've passed through together, I was slowly proven wrong, everything maybe different but one thing's for sure, something never left.

and that's fun.

We've shared so many memories, sure, there were some bad and ugly memories, but most of it were conquered with good ones, I will either forget or remember them but feelings never go away, so what I've felt during those days, will stay within my heart forever.

I remember one scenario that kinda happened today, one classmate once said that 10 months already passed since the first time we met them, then that teacher replied that "Its what happens when you have fun".

I'm not sure if that's the exact words, but hearing that was.. hmm i could say its bittersweet, 10 months felt like it was 10 days, 1 month is 1 day in my perspective.

Knowing that gives me a comforting feeling, but eventually, that same experience will never happen again, I hate to admit it, but this is where i realize that I will really miss those memories we made.

As for my classmates (rizal), I had the same thought as well, but what was different is the fact that regardless of any consequence that we faced, we were still victorious.

I always watched those times where some of us would almost give up from the pressure that was mounted upon us, but with a little encouraging from the others, you still got up and fought your way til' the very end

I always admired the might and perseverance that you guys showed me, I hated the fact that I sometimes have days where I felt like I really let all of you down, those said feelings would last for hours, to days, to months, yet I still decided to get up and fight, even if they still brick me to my worst.

the happiness and sincerity that we all shared together is beautiful, and though we will be going through separate paths, I hoped that we will never forget the days where we'd cry at the face of math, or maybe chat each other during late nights either for fun or for requirements.

Well sure that'll happen again next year, but It wont always be full online anymore, things are bound to change again, the cycle repeats, but there's a change.

this time, I won't come to the conclusion that It'll be all bad.

So for the last time, Thank you, for the memories that we've shared, and I hope that the feelings that we experienced will never be forgotten.

I wanted to write separate parts for each teacher but I accidentally deleted it all. SO I will just give a summary:

To The Teachers:

Thank you po Mr. Ong for being such a great Advisor and a great AP teacher! I hope po that you would show the Vasco da Gama story to the next batch you wil be teaching. Thank you po Ms. Baricaua for being such a great PE and Music teacher! Thank you for teaching 2 subjects at once! I learned a lot from those lessons and I will try to remember most of them! Thank you po Mr. Temenia for being such a great Filipino teacher and the club teacher for Play for Fun 1! I hope po that the next grade for Filipino will be easier because this year of Filipino is a bit harder than I imagined. Thank you for being such a fun club teacher and letting all of us a chance to play with each other and giving us the excuse to say to our parents that the time we were playing games were "homework" for the club. Thank you po Ms. Macaldo for being such a great Health and Science Teacher! Thank you po for handling two subjects at once! A lot of your lessons are very complicated especially in this third grading but you made them fun! Thank you po Mr. Catilo for being such a great English teacher! Thank you for being a fun teacher even though your subject is very hard especially the citation lessons! Because I am writing this on Wednesday I do not know if you already sung for us, but please sing for us if you did not! Thank you po Ms. Semorlan for being such a great CL/VE teacher! Thank you for teaching us values that would be with us for our whole lives! Thank you for always be willing to give us bonus points! Thank you po Ms. Arroyo for being such a great Math Teacher! Thank you po for being a great teacher and always making us laugh and have fun even though Math is very hard. Why can't you be our math teacher next year po??? I hope po that I can also give an mp4 of my answers for the exam next year! Thank you po Ms. Carola for being a such a great Computer teacher! Thank you po for teaching us very well on a very hard subject! Thank you for making the lessons interesting even though it is such a boring subject! Thank you po Ms. Amat for being such a great T.L.E teacher! Even though I do not like arts and crafts and embroidery you managed to make it enjoyable! Thank you po for teaching us lessons that we can use for outside of our school! Thank you po Mr. Macazo for being such a great Art teacher! Even though I hate art you made me like it a little bit more with all of your lessons and jokes! I hope po that you will tell all of your jokes to your other students in the next batch!

Truly that this year has been like a roller coaster, so much emotions has been poured. Laughter, disappointment, happiness, fear etc. Through this and all the obstacles and challenges that we've all been through has made us an improved and better version of ourselves. Thank you to my dear teacher who have been there to train me and make me a stronger and improved version of myself as well as my dear classmates who I will truly miss thank you for all the wonderful memories at mga kalokohan na ginawa natin. 4. Ms. Jocelyn Macaldo - Teacher, thank you so much po for always understanding us po. Thank you so much po teacher for being approachable and open po tuwing may mga questions po kami. Maraming salamat po sa effort and dedication po to explain us everything po tuwing hindi po namin nakukuha agad po yung lessons thank you po sa lahat!
5. Mr. Victor Angelo Catilo - Cher thank you thank you po for all the important lessons po and of course po maraming maraming salamat po sa pagkanta for us. Super gandaa po ng voice niyo po cher and we will always cherish and remember that po.
6. Ms. Ava Ann Semorlan - Teacher, thank you so so much po for all the rewards and points po that you have given us. Since it is the end of the School Year I wanted to thank my Teachers and classmates to get through this SY. The groupworks, projects, and activities while in class was very educational, I learned a lot of things in Gr. 7 from my teachers like Ms. Arroyo give different type activities to make math more exciting for students, Mr. Ong making a lot of jokes about history and having fun with us students, Ms. Macaldo giving us students different experiments that we can do in our home, Mr. Macazo helping us be more creative in our works, and etc.

TO RIZAL BECAUSE WHY NOT:
hai Rizal musta kayo, hab a fun summer break kasi 2-3 months lang :) pero mamimiss ko kayo dahil sa kalokohan natin and stuff amen anyways GUD LAK HAB FUN BROS! (Sana di parin kayo ma stress sa summer break :D)

To Mr. Ong,

Hi cher! In all honesty, I am blessed to count you as my first male adviser in my first year of highschool, #sanaolfirst. Words can’t describe how grateful I am and how glad I was to be part of your advisory class.

My sister told me that you were kind, generous, and loving to your students. But I will never forget the bucket of tears I have shed while reviewing for your exams. While your ap exams po can be the hardest and a tear jerker, your quizzes are the easiest, dahil naka open notes pero other than that, di ko ren sila na peperfect kasi wala rin naman akong book, but come on, not everyone is perfect..especially in politics. Speaking of politics, sana po di na po sumasaket ulo mo dahil halalan.

Okay pero seryoso na talaga. Teacher, you have recently announced your leave in SSA, and of course, we were all shocked and upset. Though we might not see you po again in campus, I will always remember how you made AP lighter for us no matter how hard the topic was. I will always cherish how great of an adviser you were to us. And I will always consider you as an amazing father figure for your rizal kids.

When I transferred to this school, I didn't think I would grow fond and attached to the teachers here. I felt welcomed as a new student and felt like I was at home whenever I enter the section's virtual classroom.

First of all, I'm deeply grateful for having Mr. Temenia as my first advisor for my first year in high school and SSA. I never knew I could have a teacher who was so understanding and patient, you were one of the people who first made me feel like I belonged in the school.

I'm also happy to have met my subject teachers, Ms. Macaldo, Ms. Semorlan, Mr. Catilo, Ms. Amat, Mr. Ong, Ms. Carola, Ms. Baricaua, Ms. Rendon, Mr. Macazo, and also Ms. Arroyo who I often looked forward to learning from every Friday in Opportunity Class. I have learned many lessons from every single one of my teachers, some made my day, and some made me laugh. All the little moments I experienced in class will always be cherished and I will always reminisce about them one day.

And to my fellow Del Pilar students, I appreciate all of you as you all felt like family to me. Even though I wasn't close with everyone, I still felt comfortable and united when we got group activities ~~kahit na di kayo lahat nagpaparticipate~~.

Again, I'm glad of how far we have gone and the number of things we've learned from each other. Kudos to all of us!!

You definitely made our AP classes fun and enjoyable. those time na you let us ( your students ) pick the deadline of the said activity. You really cared for us po Mr Ong, You have been so kind, and caring to us your students. Dear Teachers <3

Mr. Ong, you’re a really kind and good teacher. I have never met a teacher like you. I’m really happy that I ended up with you as my adviser. At first, I thought the crim section was gonna be scary and difficult, but you made it easy for me. You being there was truly a blessing from God. I also like you as an AP teacher, because you make AP seem like an easy subject. Although I am not good with the subject, I still enjoy it because you are there. Thank you for welcoming me to a new journey in life.

Mr. Catilo, you’re a really great English teacher and you’ve made the subject really interesting this year. You seem like an optimistic person, so I hope you continue to be like that. You did a really good job in handling your subject. Thank you so much for your hard work and have a great one.

Mr. Temenia, you’re a really funny teacher. I enjoyed those times when you made us laugh. Although I’m not really good with the Filipino subject, I still got to enjoy it because you made it really fun. Thank you for doing your best in handling us. I wish you well in your life po, hehe.

Mr. Macazo, no doubt, you’re a lively, funny, and enjoyable teacher. You’ve made us laugh countless times with your jokes during classes. I really hope you still get to be our Art teacher. Ms. Semorlan, you’re a really nice teacher. I admire your voice a lot! It’s really soothing to hear. I hope you continue to be the CLVE teacher because you seem really great at teaching about God and Jesus. Thank you for those wonderful classes we had together. Truly, I enjoyed it. Ms. Macaldo, you seem like a great person in real life. You’ve really made the subject Science and Health interesting and fun. I know it must’ve been hard, but just know that we’re proud of you. Honestly, you remind me of a hopeful person. I actually did enjoy some of the activities you gave, and I’m really grateful. Thank you for everything and I hope you’re doing well.

Ms. Arroyo, you’re quite a funny one too. It’s ridiculous how your laugh can be contagious, although I don’t really mind because I enjoy it anyway. It’s good that you gave it your all in teaching Math. Even though some of us aren’t good at the subject, you’re hopeful that we’re gonna do just fine. You always find a way to help us, and we really appreciate that you don’t give up on us. Thank you for teaching us Math, and even giving some advice in life. Thank you so much and I hope you’ll have a good time.

Ms. Baricaua, you’re very considerate and patient. You’ve also made the subject PE and Music pretty fun. I quite enjoyed some of the activities you gave. Some were really challenging, but still, a good experience. Thank you for teaching us and have a nice life.

Ms. Carola, you’re sweet and nice. I also admire your voice because it sounds really cute. Thank you for teaching us all about HTML and Javascript. And although it was a bit difficult for me, I still had fun with it. Thank you so much for your hard work and I hope to meet you soon.

Ms. Amat, you seem like a nice and responsible teacher. I’ve really learned a lot of facts and things about nature. It’s quite enjoyable and interesting as well. Thank you for teaching us the TLE subject, and I hope you’re doing great.

All in all, thank you to all the Grade 7 Teachers! I really learned a lot of valuable things and lessons in life. I couldn’t have survived this school year without all your help and guidance! So, I wanted to start off this message by just saying, thank you. Thank you to all of you, you guys made my school year soooo much better and I couldn't even imagine it without you guys.

To the teachers:

Mr. Ong - Thank you for being an amazing adviser and A.P. teacher. Even if I'm not good at A.P. I'm glad you're my A.P. teacher :'D I'm also glad you're my adviser. Honestly, I didn't think I would be placed in RIZAL, since it's the crim section, but life is full of surprises. Oh yeah, and how can I forget that truly heartbreaking story with Vasco, I hope you are doing well after the F.O.

Mr. Catilo - Thank you for being my English teacher. Sure, some of the topics we discussed were hard, like citation, but still, you're a great English teacher. Also, thanks for keeping your promise, you have a great voice :DD even without the music, your voice is good.

Ms. Macaldo - Thank you for being a great Music and Health teacher! I appreciate everything you did for us. It's probably not easy having to teach 2 subjects, and balancing that with your personal life. So I appreciate everything you do for us, Thank you!! <33

Una po sa lahat I wanna thank you Mr. Ong, Mr. Macazo, Ms. Rendon, Ms. Norie, Ms. Baricaua, Ms. Macaldo, Dr. Semorlan, Ms. Amat, Mr. Catilo, at syempre saaking pinaka mamahal na adviser Sir pogi. You all made me realize na hindi na pwede mag pa chill chill sa high school, even tho na magkikita pa po tayo sa august, naiiyak ako to think na yung iba po sainyo hindi ko na po makikita, at sa mga kaklase ko kasi baka po hindi na po kami magka kaklase, sana pala sinulit ko na, sana pala I had more fun chats with them, kung hindi lang po pandemic. Kung hindi po dahil sainyo hindi po ako matatauhan na kilanagan ko na po mag sipag at mag aral ng mabuti, hindi niyo po alam kung gaano niyo po napabago ang aking pag aaral. Salamat po kasi kahit minsan walang nag re recite samin hindi niyo parin po kami sinusukuan nag pupursige para lang na matuto po kami. Dari rati sobrang tamad ko po bumangon at mag ayos para pumasok po sa meet, but day by day napapaisip po ako, "ang tamad tamad ko mag aral, habang yung mga teachers ko nag pupursige gumawa ng slides, mag turo, at magpagawa ng assignment, para lang matuto kami at magkaroon ng magandang kinabukasan at trabaho." Nung naisip ko po yun naiyak ako no joke. Sorry po kasi madami po ako missings, dahil po sa mga missings namin minsan naiistress po kayo. Nung first day po, kala ko po masungit po kayo lahat, pero nung nasanay na ko unti unti, legit ang bait niyo po walang halong biro. Nung una po, kinailangan ko pong isanay yung sarili ko sa ganitong environment, kinailangan ko pong isanay yung sarili ko na pagising ko laptop yung ihaharap ko hindi yung mga tawa, kulitan ng mga makukulit kong kaklase at mga magaganda at mga gwapo kong mga guro. Siguro po kung face to face, full storage na yung cellphone ng mga pictures at videos ng mga kaklase ko at syempre si sir Jeff. Naiiyak na po ba kayo? goal po kasi namin may tears of joy kayo, naiiyak na po ako habang sinusulat toh HAHAAKKAKAKAJSHSSJAKAHAJAJAHAH.
Sa lahat po ng mga sinabi ko, ang aking gustong sabihin, wag niyo po kaming kalimutan at syempre po the same goes with us hindi po namin kayo kakalimutan, kahit nasa collage na po kami at may trabaho na po kami, hinding hindi po namin kayo kakalimutan, kayo pa ba? forever po kayong pasasalamatan sa mga tinuro saamin. HAHAHAHA, jokes aside po, Thank you for being our adviser, i’ll really miss waking up early and joining to meet to see you, and my classmates. That’s one thing that i really love. I was also scared of you po when i first met you and saw you sa meet. I never saw your witty side because of course, you are our adviser and you need to be strict, not so much and not so hard. In christmas party, i saw that you are somehow also outgoing and very witty, Atleast because of that i wasn’t that scared. I will truly miss those science, health lessons of yours, I remember those times when you kept smiling because our presentation were good, I can see that you really are proud of us, Your students. We thank you for your hard work just to teach us, Ms Macaldo. I learned from you that sometimes i need to be serious but also sometimes i need to show my witty side, and not too much and not to little. Nung una-unang araw ko po rito sa Saint Anthony, sobrang kabado po ako kasi parang sobrang seryoso and mahigpit po yung setting... Pero nung nagsunod-sunod na po yung klase, sabi ko po sa sarili ko, "Hindi ako mag-aabsent." Dahil po yun sa dabest nyong pagtuturo at pati na rin po sa pagsakay nyo sa mga kalokohan po namin.

Maraming-maraming salamat po for making MY, no, OUR first year high school experience memorable. Hinding-hindi ko po kayo malilimutan. Yung iconic converge nyo po ma'am Macaldo(our pinakamamahal na adviser), yung bestfriends nyo po sir Ong na sila vasco de gama at jessica soho, yung malaharanang boses nyo po sir Catilo, yung common sense po na lagi nyong pinapabaon sa min ma'am Arroyo, ang aming one and only sir pogi sir Temenia, yung mga masasayang pa-games nyo po Dr. Semorlan na laging may pa-bonus points, yung extension po ng deadlines nyo ma'am Amat, ang aming pinakamagandang teacher sa computer ma'am Norie, yung overflowing nyo pong pagmamahal sa min sir Macazo, at ang aming youthful music and pe tecaher ma'am Baricaua. Lahat po kayu ay mananatili sa aking heartuuu~~~💜💜💜
