Advento is a Social Enterprise that builds independent individuals out of young asylum seekers, turning their fearful perceptions of the unknown country into an optimistic thrive toward their bright future. We provide an Advento Box that will prepare young asylum seekers for the adventure in this new land.

The inspiration from Japanese intricate Bento culture, Advento Box mirrors motherly love of handpicking the three items and the seekers' joy and delight when the lid is revealed. We visualize the gathering of our loved ones with an expandable design that is also convenient and durable for travelling and serves as the protection to the three items. The furoshiki that wraps around the box with warmth is versatile to use as a mat, cover sheet and raincoat.

We hope this special bento box will arrive safely in your arms as a reminder of our togetherness despite any seclusion and optimism toward their bright future.

I want my tone to be aspiring and uplifting tone to provoke young asylum seekers's ambition toward their dreams. But when considering their age and the situation of being away from home, comfort and security are relevant, hence our brand's tone of voice are familiar and soft but yet underlaid with  empowering and enthusiastic tone.

Since I have many design elements for my items, it will also be more sustainable to not produce everything physically out

My previous works are all done physically and I enjoyed doing them, but I want to come out of my comfort zone and learn new skills.
