Now it was again a green light on a dock. His count of enchanted objects had diminished by one.”(Fitzgerald 92)

This quote shows the fear that Gatsby has in losing Daisy, it also shows that in Daisy's heart she loved him and the fear and frustration of waiting for Gatsby only pushed them together.
