I have learned in class about the meaning of the song O come Emmanuel and how it relates to advent and the coming of Christ. I enjoy learning about the roots of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" in class, it's one of my favorite hymns so it is cool to learn about it. I found this nursing home in Quebec that asked for people to send letters since they cannot have visitors for Christmas. We have not put up decorations yet, because we are currently in the process of moving into a new house. So we have not had time to do so, but once we settle, we will eventually put them up for the Christmas season. What my family and I do, on a regular basis, is making cookies and baking cookies.
