         <description><![CDATA[<div>Content areas: Social Studies and ELA<br><br></div><div>Grade level: 4<sup>th</sup> grade<br><br></div><div>Students have been reading a variety of genres detailing the histories of Native American societies from the woodlands, plains, and desert areas of the United States. Each landscape and culture has enticing and difficult aspects of daily life.  Students must synthesize information from at least three texts to decide in which native group they would rather grow up and support this opinion with facts and information.</div>]]></description>
