In my classroom we are working 1 to 1 with iPads. This is building their skills for the future. We do a lot of guided reading that will help build their confidence and reading ability. My students work in groups, this should help build their self confidence and cooperative skills. I try to provide and safe and welcoming learning environment.

Problems that I see..

I do see the issues with the students that don't have the self confidence. I also see the problems with the students that don't have the technology at home. This is a disadvantage to the student. I also see those students that haven't had the good learning experience up until now. They already have a dislike for school. It is our job as teachers to try and make a positive impact in the students lives. I treat each child as they are my own while they are in my classroom. We are a family.
