I have a part time job and I have to communicate with clients and I am good at keeping a conversation and making clients comfortable. However sometimes I feel like I could talk a little bit louder. As a job I am a lash tech so I have to communicate with clients to ensure they don't get bored with how long it can take.

About me power point. we had to create a power point about our selves and present it to a few people in tutorial. It developed my communication skills as I had to speak to people I had never spoken to before, and tell them about myself. it went well as i had the chance to meet new people and make new friends. I could still improve on talking louder and with more confidence.

During the first week in out proper classes at college, we had a range of different activities to do with each other. This improved teamwork skills because we had to work together to complete tasks. It went well as we managed to get everything done, but I could work on being a bit more confident.

During tutorial last Monday, we had to create sort of a blanket with pieces of paper. It went well and improved our communication skills because we had to communicate to create it. Although it went well we could've worked on talking a bit more.

In January 2022, I started a part time job in a little beauty shop, working weekends and some nights after school. It went well because whilst working in this beauty salon, I learned how to do different brow treatments that people still come to me for today. If I could do it again, I would change the confidence I lacked. For the first few months I was a bit shy, not really knowing what to do but after settling in I knew exactly what to do when I walked in and was confident talking to customers and giving out treatments. I achieved from this work experience confidence in speaking to different customers and I also learned how to handle different customer situation.

In July 2023, I did an eyelash course, passing one month later and immediately beginning to work from my own home self-employed. It went well because I got successful, making money and gaining a lot of clients that would return every few weeks for treatments. If I could do it again, I would one again change the confidence I lacked. In the beginning I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it, now I have people willing to book in with me because of how much confidence I gained and the progress I made. I achieved communication skills from this experience, having to deal with different customer types and situations with no one there to help me. I also gained good listening skills as I had to listen to the clients as they explained their needs and wants.

In March 2024, I did a charity for Barnsley Hospice in College. We sold snack, did games, and did raffles. It went well because we managed too raise £180 for the Barnsley Hospice charity in just 3 hours. If I could do it again, I would do some more activities to get students to engage more, since they seemed to like the game more than the raffles and such. From this, I managed to deal with money independently, working out how much changed students needed after buying something. I also achieved interactive skills as I had to interact with others to get them involved a=to raise all the money that we did.

I am motivated because I want to become a Cabin Crew members or a Holiday Rep in the future.

I show this by paying attention in lessons, completing all of my assignments, handing them in on time, and asking questions so that I get a better education and understanding.

I am motivated because of my dad. My dad has taught me everything I know in life and tries his best to help me prepare for the future so I get the best and I show this by paying attention to every bit of advice he gives me, trying to follow it the best I can.

I am motivated by my friends because they support me through my decisions and help me when I am struggling or falling behind. I show this by offering them the same kindness back and listening to the advice they give me.

I support my friends in and outside of College.

I reassure them and give them advice where they need it. I help them with any work and assignments if they are stuck, sending them any notes they missed, and giving them ideas and help so that they don't fall behind.
