simple bottle-top gripper with lanyard hold

I like the simplicity of this design. It looks too small for the big bottles I am designing for, and it also needs a larger surface area, but I bet this would be cheap to print. I imagine that to actually use it you would simply grip the whole top & gadget together in the right-hand and push. I like the way this allows the user to push against the bottle-top with the shoulder and arm, rather than just using the fingers and wrist to unwind it.

I like the simple way this device attaches to a normal fork to adapt it and make it more ergonomic. It looks like it would be better if it was more rounded and hence more comfortable

With more space for the fingers, this could be modified for the 5 litre bottles. It would need to be much bigger to be able to spread the force over the fingers though. If I adapted this I might try to make it fit 2 bottles - great for quickly and painlessly unloading the car when I get back from the supermarket.

Universal bottle opener

This claims to allow the user to open bottles with various sized tops. It also has a device for opening cans on the end, hence the name 'universal'. This one is so popular that it is even being sold on Ebay, even though this is against the Creative Commons License that it is issued under on Thingiverse.
