¡Hi everybody! I could say that I had a happy childhood, with some years that were extremely difficult, but my mom and my grandmother made sure that I was happy all the time. I was born in Santo Domingo, but I grew up in Bayaguana. I remember that when I was a child, I used to play a lot with my friends and my neighbor in front of my house or in places around my neighborhood. Some of the games that I used to play were, El Topao, El Escondido, Chicle Ma Chicle, La Carretilla, El Pañuelo, La Gallinita Ciega, El yun and my favorite for ever El Juego de cocina. !OMG! I really loved that game, I used to play it that until I was 15. I remember that I would spend all the day playing with my sisters and my best friend. we would go out around my neighborhood looking for flowers, vegetables to then go and cook with that flowers, I remember that my grandmother always told me that one day one of my neighbors will go to give me “Lo Mio” in a Dominican way because I used to pick flowers from my neighbors' bushes during the hot hours of the day.

The relationship with my sibblings are really good, Im the older sister so we are in good terms always because I always try to make sure that everybody are happy and in calm. Speaking of siblings, I remember that I have an history with my first sister, she was about 4 and I was 10 more or less, I was slepping in my bedroom, and I had one of my feet outide of the bed, she took advantage and bit my toes!. I remember I wake up so mad at her, and she ran to my grandmothers arms to feel that she were save. I walked towards her crying and gave her a pecoson and in the end what came out was that I was scolded and even angrier.

Changing the item, I had a best friend when I was a child, and now we are like sisters and we treat each other as such. I was always very good at school because I always enjoy did my classes, my favorite subjects since I was in first grade were; English, French, Geography, and natural sciences because my grandmother used to be a teacher of natural science and I really loved the way that she explained her classes. That was a little resume about my childhood and part of my teenage years.

Hi everyone! I had a happy and sad childhood. I was born in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, I grew up in adorable family. I have grown up with my older brother whom a I can’t to play a lot, because he had a special condition in his brain. Then, I had to find out other friendships in my neighborhood for play every game together. Every moment is very precious to me. In the afternoon, we used to play “ el topao “ , “ trompos”,         “ Bolas” and “Jaque” in our neighborhood. The memories of playing in the neighborhood together are mesmerising. Another beautiful thing I can remember is flying kites. It used to be one of the most exciting things of my childhood. Even the older members of the family participated with us. We used to fly kites on our terrace. We do that for all the day. Another beautiful thing I can remember is my visit to the zoo with my family. We made one zoo visit every year with cousins and friends. But now, so many things are changed, but my childhood memories are still fresh in my heart.

I was a very good student  in primary, but I coudn’t take the control of my body when the teacher left the Classroom, I began to do antics and bad things to my partners.In high school everything took a turn, because I had other vision of the school. I started to like some subjects how “ biology” , “ english” , “ physical education “ and I started to hate “ Math” and “ history”. I can’t leave love aside, in those moments when you feel a teeneger, you look at girls with differents eyes. I had a lot of fun with all my friend, playing basketball and baseball in the break. High school can describe in differents ways, like full of surprise, craziness and many more, but the all in all description of what is high school is; fun, wild memorable. Is fun in a way that you interact with your classmates and forming an allied to do crazy things in your classroom and somtimes no one can notice even your adviser unless when one your classmates tell the foolishness that you did together with your friends. It became a habit in high school whenever the teacher is not around and the one who lead the class no other than the class president.

I also remember the time when we had a group that used to go out every Saturday and Sunday with new clothes and we would go to visit other neighborhoods where we had friends. And sometimes we would go to clubs or parks to talk and have fun. There was a time when a dance was performed and all the teenagers of my time wanted to learn it to be up to date, I was one of those who was able to learn some steps, once learned we would compete with other kids from other neighborhoods to see who was the best.

Last but not least, it is important to highlight the fact that all these experiences helped us to become the person we are today. If we had not gone through these stages, perhaps today we would not have the maturity and ability that identifies us.

I remember that I used to meet up with my friends and we would play basketball, baseball or whatever came up to pass the time, just like I played with my little sister and we had a good time. At school I was a good student who always got good grades. My favorite subjects at the time were physical education and history. I am more than grateful to God for having given me the childhood I had, as well as the wonderful parents I have.

I had memories when my brother and I used to play El topado, El Escondido, el pañuelo and Bola Caliente with our friends and cousins. During my childhood my brother and I helped my father every morning to fetch wather from the river and the well. We fed the chickens and looked for firewood in the mornings for the stove. I helped our grandmother with the housework.

I was always very shy and quiet, I remember that when I was a teenager only wore baggy clothes and tennis shoes were my favorites, I loved school and I was a very good student. But I made really good friends, we did our homework together and ate ice cream in the park.

When I was a teenager, I used to play volleyball and participate in singing festivals in high school. I liked dancing with my friends and doing choreography for school performances.

When I was teenager I had a lot of responsibility I was the oldest in my house in that time because my sisters got married and my mom worked all the time, that was when I was twelve or thirteen years, so the house responsibilities and my brothers was on me until I started to work when I was nineteen.

During my childhood, I used to play Trucano, El topao, Soguita China, Monopoly and other games with all my friends especially with my sister because we were always together, and I got along very well with her. We loved when my father gave us ours fist barbies.

I also used to go to dance classes with my sister and cousin. At that time, I was very happy. With my older brother I didn't get along well until I was 11 years old because he grew up in Santo Domingo with my father. When I lived in Barahona I used to come here with my sister on school vacations for visit to my father and my older brother, that was only for 2 months then my mother would take us.

In another hand, I remember that I was going to the elementary school in Barahona until we moved to de Santo Domingo, I finished the last years here. The elementary school was next to my house, but I still hated going there. I was a good student, but sometimes I used to spend more time having fun than studying. In my teenager years I spent the most of my time watching anime also. In high school I got my best friend Rodrigo, who is a big fan of the anime like me. My best subjects were Literature, Biology and History apart from the fact that I wasn't very good at Math, Geometry, and stuff like that, but I always tested them because I worked so hard, and always got more or less grades tested them was like a miracle for me. Finally, this was a small summary of my memories as a child and teenager.

So I had a lot of time to do homework and play with friends. After school we met to cook small dishes like dulce de coquito and arroz con leche.

At night we played el loco Ayuda, el topao, el pañuelito and things like that.

Every Christmas we visited our mother's family. The only time we visited my father's family I got sick.

At home I Helped my mother in the kitchen I have always liked cooking since I was little.

When I was little I had small dog named coby who followed me everywhere. I spent hours playing with him in the garden.

School was an exciting time for me because I Loved to learn. My favorite subject was math my teacher always explained in a easy and simple way and all the students understood. I only had one problem when I was at school in the afernoon, didnt like to eat and that is why my mother had hit me.

My childhood Was full of joy, love, and adventure. I had many wonderful memories of playing with my friends, spending time with my family, and Discovering new things every day.

I was born in Elías Piña, specifically in the country side, it is named Rinconcito,  I grew up there, I was living there until I was 15, tehn I moved to the town of the province  to continue with my studies in the high school. I was good student, I liked English and math subjects.

When I was around 10 years old I liked to play baseball with my Friends, Me caí en un pozo, El escondido and some others, to go forward, when I was older I played Casino and domino but what I enjoyed most was riding horses. I used to to do it especially when I had get wáter from the river to the house I really enjoyed it, also liked go swimming in the river I can say it was very pleasant.

I really liked to spent time watching soap operas from México and Colombia, I don´t remember to many things at the moment.however I am really sure I had a very good childhood.  

During my childhood, I had a lot of fun with all my cousis, we used to play El Topao, La Bola Caliente, 1,2,3 Mariposita Linda e', El Cintero, El Encongelado, La Banderita and barbie's play. The Barbie's play was my favorite game, I played this every day without to care the time.

My best subjects were art and computer studies. My worst subject was Algebra, I had a good grades on my high school.

My parents and my grandmother always were here, they trusted me.

The only thing that I miss about my childhood is playing freely with my cousins and not having responsibilities, my childhood was very happy.

I had a friend at school, her name was Angela, we were best friends, we did everything together, now she doesn't live in the country. But we still keep in communication sometimes.

I had a funny Childhood. I was born in the hospital Juan Pablo Pina, in san Cristóbal.

I grew up in Lavapies.

During My Childhood i used to play trucamelo, The hidden one, el topao, doll Game, Jump rope, etc.

I was i'm several schools i was a very intelligent but spoke a Lot.

In my free time I used to watch movies with my brothers and when there was no electricity and it was raining we would go out and get wet in the rainwater.

Hi everyone! I had a happy childhood. I was born in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional but  I grew up in Bajos de Haina  because my family moved to this town when i was 6 years old.  I remember  that in those moments I loved it to play with mi cousin Sindy, she was someone very important to me, we played house with our dolls and at the same time we made houses in the cabin with her mother's sheets, that happened when i was around 5-6 years old.  I loved that after I got home from school and did my homework, I would go play with my neighborhood friends near my house. We always played a different game, like 'topao', YUM, la plaquita, and others. You can't imagine how much I played and enjoyed when the holidays came. Another memory I have from my childhood is that I loved playing doctor with my dad. I remember using things I had at home and turning them into medical tools. I would give him edible pills that were sold at school back then; I always bought them to play with him. It was very enjoyable for me at the time, especially since I always said I was going to be a doctor. The less pleasant moments for me at that time were when I came home from school at noon, had lunch, and then my mom would tell me I had to take a nap! HAHAH for me, that was the best thing that could exist.  Also I was a Good student  in high school. My favorites subjects always were bioloby, english , physical educación  and art.

Hi everyone!.

I had a great and happy childhood. I was born in Villa Altagracia S.C. I grew up in Villa Altagracia too, next to my grandparents. When I was a child, I used to play pelota - baseball - and el topao with my neighbors. When my cousins came to my grandparent’s house we used to go to the river. Near to the river there was a small mountain and we jumped off with yaguas of palmas.

I always got along with my siblings. When I was in the school I didn't have a favorite subject, but I was one of the best students in my math class.

I didn’t have a best friend at school but I have always considered my cousin Kimberly as my best friend since we were kids. She lived in Santo Domingo so I didn't use to see her often.

Once I sneaked out to the river and my parents caught me and I had serious problems with them, my parents grounded me for 2 weeks.

when I was a child, life seemed simpler and calmer. I had no responsibilities other than playing with my friends, having fun as if there were no tomorrow.

I used to play with my dolls, run all around the yard and playing with animals, play jacks, trucalo, play videos games with my cousins, I used to loved roller skating with my favorite cousin, I watched many tv shows for example: Bob sponge, Phineas and fern, Los padrinos mágicos among other.

Later, childhood changed!

Responsibilities came along, like household chores and taking care of my little brother.

As I grew older and entered adolescence, things started to change school became more challenging and I had to focus more on my studies.

Now, I must to work, study, life’s too stressful but everything is a purpose.
