I am interested in hiking and trekking activities, my response to the instructions mentioned by the author would be positive and I would categorize them as life-saving hacks. I believe the author's experiences in hiking and trekking will assist people to be more heedful by glancing through his article. I just realized that hiking and trekking may sound fun-loving and convivial, but if we aren't meticulous enough it may lead us to endangerment. Of course, hiking and trekking have led to having better health conditions and help improve oxygen intake for the lungs and the entire body. Since hiking has the potential of calculating risk, it is advisable to create a hiking team and start to perform weekly hiking activities at least for three months in the safest hillside with a minimum height of 500ft to 600ft from the ground. This will become a routine practice for the new climbers to develop their physical and mental strength. One of the essential elements we need to emphasize on the individual and group is safety precautions during hiking and trekking on the hills. All the emergency and safety tool kits need to be on standby and pre-alertness is advisable to do a police report acknowledgment to give prior hiking information. This is to ensure if anyone is missing in the jungle or has not returned home after the hiking, the police will be doing the necessary action together with the Bomba rescue team. Another safety precaution mod is by taking the insurance coverage for hiking and trekking as a preventive action. We may conclude that hiking and trekking look like a simple activity but in the actual scenario, it is needed individual capability and strength to go through hiking and trekking activities with safety precautions.

Thivya Dharshini Ramesh (DRI3A)
09DRI20F1020
